Other Matches PL 19/20 Season

City away at West Ham about to KO.

All the talk pre match had been about John Stones and the pressure City’s tactics can place on him.

Here’s hoping he has a shocker!

West Ham started quite well, but City going through the gears now. Slow pace to the game.

Rodri with about 6 tactical fouls and no card yet. Could easily be off. Ridiculous.

Yeah, you can see why they brought him in to replace Fernandinho. Tactical foul masterclass.

It's so key to their game, and so easy to address. It can't be simply naivety from officials.

VAR keeps it at 2-0.

Was a nice goal too.

Sooo....Can a member of your own team encroach now as well ? As Rice wasnt on his own

If the pen is scored, you run the gauntlet

If the pen is saved, you get another chance.

All thanks to VAR.

Easy win for City but West Ham have no pace upfront. Some of their build up play was nice but pace is such a killer in attacking positions and they really lack that threat.

Defender moving out of the way of the ball to allow it to go in.

Seems like Eriksen came on and changed it. Wonder if they can hang on to him?

Contract ends at the end of the season. So I doubt it.

Wants to go to Spain.

Wonder if they will hang on to him for this season though? Still 2 weeks in Europe until window slams shut. Reckon once Netmar moves a few more will happen.

Ah.

There's a liklihood nothing happens. I doubt united will allow Pogba to leave which frees up madrid to move for Eriksen but I'm not sure they are desperate or have the readies now it looks like Bale won't move either.

Whole lot of meh in that Newcastle-Arse game.......hopefully it might liven up later if Mourinho lays some truth bombs about the dysfunctional ManU setup behind the scenes.

#MUFC XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Andreas, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

#CFC XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson, Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount, Barkley, Pedro, Abraham.

That's got to be one of the worst sides Chelsea have fielded in about 15 years. While the Utd team is horrific too even they can't fail to win at home v that surely?

Chelsea look poor, they miss Hazard and the goal from nothing threat that he brought. All good news for us on Weds.

WTF? From the Beeb

'That was fantastic refereeing by Anthony Taylor.

He was ready to blow for a foul when Andreas Pereira was fouled in the build-up to the penalty but waited. The extra half second was enough for Kurt Zouma to foul Marcus Rashford'

Surely the first foul was an offense and the advantage being played would've been an event that happened in open play. Shouldn't play be taken back to the first foul?
