Yeah they're his second shots no? Pitching wedge 2nd shot on the 10th is something else

Yep it's the clubs he was using for his second shot on each hole. Ridiculous but it was only in practice and he may not be as aggressive when it comes to the actual round? Will be fascinating to see anyway.

Yep on the driving range he had to aim for the trees over the back right of the driving range, as the TV centre, situated behind the driving range, was hittable for him

I've backed Rahm and Finau.

This is a tasty group out at 12.33pm.

Jon Rahm (Spa), Bryson DeChambeau (US), Louis Oosthuizen

DJ is a banker IMO - went for him and your two and a small bet on a couple of others

I'd like to back about 10 of em tbh.

I could never feel mega confident about DJ. Just expect him to choke on the Sunday.

Only a world record 142,000 new cases yesterday and 1500 deaths. Why not have crowds gathering?

DeChambeau striped his opening drive

Took a bit off it though, carried just 321 yards

Looks like they just had 'patrons' for Gary Player's traditional opening drive

I hate betting on golf..as soon as it starts you look down the leaderboard and pretty much the top 40 you look at and think 'shit I was going to bet on him'

DeChambeau has sprayed it to all parts of the course yet he's still only 1 over after 6 holes.

DeChambeau surely needs to slow his swing down a little bit, this is ridiculous

[QUOTE=Irishnev;3669112]Had a quick look at where I normally go pre Masters - I think Cantlay and DJ are bankers to place so put enough on them to cover the rest of the bets. Mid price - Finau and Matt Fitzpatrick. Oldies now fall into Rose and Casey - both normally are in the mix here.

70/1 - surely he was worth a small wager

Didn't back either of them in the end ffs and they're both right up there.

My boys Rahm and Finau well set at 3 under though

Surely it'll play a bit tougher today with the greens hardening up. I wanna see greens like glass.

All my lads in the mix and one at the top - normally they say double the first round score and add 2 for the winning score.....the course will be soft this time of year so even for Augusta it will be hard to speed up the greens. One thing they won’t allow is someone to shoot the lights out so they’ll make the pin placements hard if they go low again today

Enjoyed it so far. I think the course record of 63 could possibly be in danger today if it stays this soft. Surely it can't play much easier than this?
