Same I hated him and the whole Chelsea team between 05-14. Now I don’t have any feeling towards the club, and actually wanted them to win Europa over Arsenal.

Agree with above, hated that old Chelsea clique but I do like Lampard now, great pro and seems a decent guy. Massive step up for him this. Might be a bit too early for him but I do think he'll have a good future in management.

Scum fans - the lad is 21 years old - it took balls to step up for a penalty, he should be applauded. Ungrateful cunts, he won them the penalty that got them to the shootout!

I think that argument is beyond the intellectual capacity of the people involved.

Quick question, I didn't see the game or the red card incidents...I know the first came from a second bookable offence and the ref waved play on, but the second was for handball in the area, from which the penalty was scored.

I thought that if a penalty was given, then a red card usually wasn't (something to do with punished twice for the same incident). What made this handball red card worthy? Reports said "handball in the 18 yard area" not on the line or anything.

Logic dictates that it too was a second yellow card.

Ah right, the reports made it sound like a straight red. Second yellow makes sense, thanks!

The harsh part was that it was originally a foul on Blind that resulted in two sendings off and a penalty to Chelsea

It was a handball with the hand down by his side. Awful decision.

I've never got the fat Frank thing. He's never ever been remotely fat, even now he's clearly still in great shape. It's a shit insult.

There's definitely a fat version of himself waiting to break out but he's done well to keep it in check thus far.

He's actually managed to do the opposite of pretty much everyone else and look slimmer in his older age.
