Haha, we played some decent stuff as ever, and scored 2 tries at Twickenham which is a progression.

You need to be strong 1-15 to compete and England are just a stronger team on the day.

I fear what France might do to England if we keep getting turned over like we did yesterday. Scotland scored points from pretty much every chance they had. Think France will force more so defence has to improve

23-18 Italy with just over a minute to go. It would be brilliant if they can hold on

Didn't they play this last year? It's worse than the African Nations Cup.

Best man at my wedding is Scottish and a big rugby fan, enjoyed giving him years of abuse

NB - I had to disappear for a few weeks when you won the final 5 nations, that was painful and he was relentless with the mocking

Yeah, we have a decent run every 20 years or so.

We are definitely due one now maybe next year......

I enjoy the banter with my English chums during rugby, though I did point out yesterday that I haven't despised an English player like I do Chris Ashton since the days of Will Carling.

He's good but has a face you would never tire of hitting.

that was the start of it.

Rugby Union just has no place for that sort of show boating. I love the respect between opposing teams, occasionally it goes awry, but mainly there is a code of honour and respect and trust. Ashton doesn't show any of that sort of humility. Chris Robshaw on the other hand is a class act, he shows similar characteristics to the 2005 England team, a team that new how to win with dignity.

Six Nations 2013

I don't get it with him, I mean I don't get why he has to do it It can't be a league thing as loads of other players have made the change and not been as arrogant. Tuilagi has got a bit of it about him as well I think. Robshaw comes across as a very switched on guy and hopefully can be the captain for a good few years.

long time ago ! Good memories though, watched it a pub with a kiwi mate had a bet that if we won he had to kiss the Union Jack if they'd have win I'd do the same to the kiwi flag. When the kick went over made him keep his promise, thing is the flag I got him to kiss was painted on the head of a bald bloke that I knew and even funnier was he'd spent some "quality" time with his daughter the night before

Don't really see why people get so worked up by things like this. Looks to me like it's part of him enjoying the game and his own particular skills.

I think people get annoyed because there is a good chance that the player could fuck it up. Its a bit like backheeling a goal in. It is a bit frustrating to watch when its a tight game.

But as far as I can tell he hasn't fucked it up yet, has he? If he does he'll deservedly get pelters - until he does I just like the fact that it adds variety to the game.

My initial point is that he is well loathed by opposing supporters because he comes across as an arrogant dick. It is his own supporters that dislike the dive.

It adds as much variety to the game as Lee Sharpe dancing with the corner flag did to football.

Great performance today, the Italian bubble well and truly burst.

Cracking game again, nice to see the backs crossing the line. A small step forward. Hogg must have a shout at touring with the Lions.

yup, hats off to the Scots that was a really good performance.

Suppose you've got to raise your game against the other side competing for the spoon
