struggled in the first half but when the game opened up, he had a lot of time and space to pretty much do what he wanted. Was like a training session in the second half for us to be honest though.

No value for money with this guy, injured once again. I will be very surprised if he isn't moved on in the summer on loan, maybe get the value back up. Players like him and Matip simply cannot handle the rigors of the premier league.

Yeah I do like the guy but this is just ridiculous. Anymore injuries before the end of the season and I’d sell him.

If he wasnt here it would make zero difference as he is hardly ever available and brings zero to the squad.
Sell ffs

I'd be amazed anyone would offer that. He's been a bad version of Lallana.

I think a German club might give us 30 million for him based on previous form in Germany

I’d be surprised if he’s sold this summer.

If Klopp needs to move him on to provide funds for another transfer - no question he will.

Yeah I agree. If Gini goes I see Jones as his replacement but we’ve got a few out on loan that I think will be sold or loaned out again if no buyers are found. We’ve got too many permacrocs in midfield unfortunately

We can’t just move players without replacing them.

Might as well sell him. Pains me to say it tbh but if we can find a taker - and I reckon Bundesliga clubs would be queuing up to sign him - we should sell. A drain on resources at this point.

I think he’s unlucky. I don’t understand how the club’s medical staff can’t get to the bottom of his injuries though and he’s not the first one we’ve transformed into a crock.

And the shame with Naby is he’s going to go somewhere else and play regularly and become a world beater.

I hope he does recover either way, but I’m not sure why his injury issues would going magically clear up by signing for a new club?

Because he wasn’t injury prone before. Muscle related injuries can be fixed by understanding why in the first place it’s recurring. I don’t understand why we’ve not come to the bottom of it in his case. He obviously can’t fix himself on his own and he’s only 25.

No brainer innit. Injured most of the time and meh when fit. He's been a flop and needs shifting.

Maybe they do understand it, but there’s no undoing the recurring damage caused by playing in Afcon 2019 the month after he ruptured an adductor tendon in the CL semi final?

He’s entitled to go and play for his country. He can get a personal medical therapist with him if the club thinks he needs to so that he does the things that he should be doing to avoid injury.

I think there's a chance its more mental with him, maybe the club is too big, the pressure is too much?

He shouldn’t have been playing for anyone so soon after that injury, and he’s been paying for it ever since. I’m not saying it’s fault.
I’m sure the club medical team have been trying everything possible with him to try and prevent these recurring injuries. But yeah, personal medical therapist, maybe that’ll do it

I can't think of a single ex-LFC player that applies to. Not even Rushie. Alonso was about the same, maybe even less of a player than he was at LFC.

Surely Alonso counts. Won loads with Real and Bayern and was brilliant most of the time. He was inconsistent with us, as much as I loved him.

Is this a new injury or just that he's not recovered from his existing injury?

Suarez was a worldie with us but he went next level at Barca - his numbers there were astounding

Klopp said he’s close to being back. So I guess it’s an existing muscle issue.

I think it's time to sell him now. He's clearly never going to get over his injury issues.
Is there a similar type of player out there we could look at?

Lucky for us there's absolutely no chance of that, he's nowhere near being a world-beater fully fit.
