Rumoured to be up for sale.

If they are looking to sell him where does he go?

I just don’t see him as the type to “settle” abroad although the tabloid media would be away from him. He’s a London lad so Chelski the only possibility

I agree about not seeing him go abroad, so it feels like it has to be a PL club, Chelsea as you say seems the most likely but would they want him?

Purely on footballing terms I’d have him back but we couldn’t afford his ridiculous wages.

Nah, we don’t need a tap in merchant, we don’t create too many of those chances. And paying £50m+ on someone with technique as poor as his would be nuts imo

Would be a downgrade on our current starting options out wide. Mane had a horror show this season compared to the standards he set in the past and still outperformed Sterling in terms of combined goals and assists. Both would have had similarish minutes on the pitch.

He'd fit right in with our front 3 from this season, missing 80% of the chances thrown his way

If we had a front three where all three had a 20% conversion rate, we would have walked the league. A 20% or better conversion rate would mean a monster season for a player.

Kane for example the season gone has a conversion rate of just over 17.5% in the EPL.

Salah was 18.33%

Mane was 12.5%

Firmino was 11.1

Watkins was 14.6%

Sterling was 15.68%

Lewandowski was 29.9% in the Bundesliga after scoring 41 league goals so he still missed just over 70% of the attempts he made.

Klopp would be proud of the monster striker he created in Lewandowski!
