Wouldn't be surprised to see us in for Neto if one of our front three left. More of a natural replacement for Mane than the other two.

Mike Dean getting death threats apparently after his latest round of performances.

Asked not to be selected for PL duty on the next round of games.

Not cool, obviously. Though questions need to be asked about his involvement going forward to begin with.

He obviously doesn’t deserve death threats. But he should be removed because the red card he gave yesterday was so bad.

Disgusting behaviour treating him like this.

There is a related issue here that needs to be addressed from the football side of things: The fact that both the Bednarek and Soucek decisions were reviewed by Dean on the pitchside monitor and were subsequently rescinded by the FA shows that there are some serious flaws with either the system or the ability of the referee. Because clearly this shouldn't be happening, as presumably the FA are looking at the same video that Dean has been looking at on the pitchside monitor...

This is a separate issue from the abuse, but IMO is one that the FA should be looking at (but probably won't).

There’s just clearly no intent in the Soucek one. He is trying to move his arm out of the way. I don’t know what they were watching on the monitor if they can’t see that?

I can't make up my mind whether this is the sort of game that would drive Mourinho berserk for losing or not. Anyway I'm all in for Everton.

Was it something that goes back to a variation on different hymns sung by travelling fans in the good old days ? Probably an unofficial club anthem or somethin'

What a miracle recovery from Bruno !

Goes down in the box....stays down....VAR doesn't go his way.....gets up.....barely able to walk (took about 20 seconds for him to get out of the West Brom box)

Back running, scoring and celebrating a minute later. What a trooper !

Scumbag prick.

Maguire offside.

Throws himself down. Ref gives peno.

VAR must intervene.

And it does, but rather incredibly, they didn't look at the offside at all.

Remember this beauty?

I actually think this one was a foul, as much as Salah's Vs city, but he was miles offside so irrelevant anyway.

Some save at the end there.

Ended 1-1

2 wins from the last 7 for these gimps. Nowhere near good enough to challenge.

Ah....I remember a time when we'd be losing our shit over an away point. Great days.

Pretty much admitting they are where they are, due to the assistance of the officials

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, speaking to Sky Sports:

"We can't be relying on VAR decisions - we have to improve.

Thinking about this a bit more, doesn't a player need to become 'active' before being offside? If they are fouled prior to receiving the ball, did they ever become active and therefore, isn't the inital offside position irrelevant and a penalty can still be awarded? As there was a pull, shouldn't it have been a pen?

I would argue forcing the defender to take action makes you an active participant

Hahaha.....VAR correctly overules pen awarded to Arsenal.

Despite Alan Smith - 'That's a pen. Trip on Saka. VAR won't be overuling that' a minute beforehand.
2 angles was all that's needed to show it wasn't a pen.
