Alou Diarra - Only the Second time I've seen him!!

Even though he was technically a LFC player for what 2 years?

This is only the second time I've seen him play!!! And it's the World Cup Final....

The other time was the friendly against Leverkusen (was it? Might have been Wolfsburg!!)

It was three years, and he probably spent about one whole week on Merseyside. Definitely the strangest ever Reds signing for me.

At least we got some cash in for him - and people say we don't make money on players...

Easily one of Houllier's strangest purchases (and that's saying something). Did he ever even see the inside of Anfield?

Did anyone see that pundit (was it sky sports?) who tipped France to win the World Cup on the basis of having Diarra in the squad? Unfortunately he meant Mohammadou Diarra from Lyon (who isn't even French)

Believe it or not I have a signed shirt from pre-season a couple of years ago with his autograph on it. I only knew who it was because he put his squad number next to his signature...
