Barca sign Zambrotta and Thuram

Barcelona have won the race to capture Juventus duo Lilian Thuram and Gianluca Zambrotta following the Italian club's relegation to Serie B.

Thuram, 34, has signed a two-year deal, while the 29-year-old Zambrotta has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

More to follow.

Barca in particular look seriously strong with the addition of those two and Cannavaro alone will improve Real loads.

No match for mighty Carra and Fabio!

They'll be strong, but in Europe I am always confident with Rafa at the helm. Anything can happen over 2 legs as we very much know about.

At least our seeding will keep us away from them in the group stages, unlike Chelsea.
