Was Hatton a lot older than FM when he fought him ? Hard to believe he was in the same ring as FM looking at him now.

I was giving Manny a huge chance in the run up to this fight, but the nearer it got, and the weigh in, has really made me think he's beaten before he gets into the ring.

In my mind i thought he'd be the bigger more powerful looking boxer of the two for some reason, but he's really not at all, FM imo has his number already, and it'll take something very very special from Manny to alter the trajectory of how FM has the fight planned..

Pacquiao captured his first title at flyweight (8 stones!) he's worked his way up the divisions and has fought larger fighters.

Had this fight happened 5 years ago imo Pacman would have had a real good chance of beating Mayweather and Mayweather knew this so has somewhat dodged him until Manny was on the downward trajectory.

With Mayweathers defensive style alongside his size advantage i can only see a Mayweather win.

The boxing has started.

There's about 10 people in the entire arena watching the first fight of the night.

Ring walk for the main event is approx 4am according to Sky.

The fight was all but signed five years ago but Manny and his new giant growth hormone deformed head wouldn't agree to random drug testing so he ducked mayweather if anything.

My wee football subscription site has the fight free in HD.

Glad I didn't take the plunge and pay £20.

I'm going for a draw and an even bigger grossing ppv rematch. Vegas and Floyd milking the cash cow as much as they can before he retires.

Here we go. I predict a Mayweather win by KO in rounds 6-8. Love to see Manny win but Floyd just always has the answers.

I make that 118-111
Manny won 4th and 6th and shared the 10th
Mayweather never needed to get out of second gear

Masterclass from Mayweather.

Comprehensive. No controversy and no need for a rematch.

Floyd just put on a clinic, those first couple of rounds decided the fight for me Manny just had no idea how to get inside and close to him.

Like him or not Mayweather is a different class

What does do results like this mean to people like Manny? Is it the end of his career or does he keep going?

It was quite a boring fight in the end. Almost the same pattern every round and only a couple of time Pac took a risk. Expected more really but as said before, this fight has come several years too late. I think Mayweather will want a rematch.

It was a typical Mayweather fight for me he hits without getting hit, just so elusive.

Manny needed to do far more than he did but I still don't think he'd have had enough to win.

Mayweather won't look to fight him again he's beaten him once and by some distance Khan might get his shot or perhaps Cotto.

his last 6/7 fights all won on points.....say's alot about his style of boxing, does he have the offense to knock opponents out these days or just win by landing more body shots and on points.

He does what he needs to do to win, doesn't take risks and makes sure he doesn't get tagged.

Smart boxer and incredibly talented but he's not great to watch if you're looking for a Haggler Hearns slugfest.

Yeah saw that I guess by doing that it gives him a free reign on who he fights next without pressure from any organisation on who he's got to take on next.

All about the publicity with Floyd though Let's see if he does it
