Good player - similar style to Bobby as a centre forward. West Ham will be decent next year and them, wolves and Leicester will push top 6

So Mikataryan (sp) is following Sanchez down the road and back out of the PL, both having bombed spectacularly at two high profile (English) clubs.

And to think we were interested in the pair of them *shudder*.

We wanted Sanchez to replace Suarez and he was the best option for us at the time. He was excellent for Arsenal for a couple of seasons hence why City and United wanted him. He tailed off spectacularly at United

We wanted MickyRyan when he left Shakthar and again he would heave been a great signing at that time. He went on to score and assist a boat load at BvB but again he bombed at United

Both were superb players at the time we wanted them but they ended up at United and bombed

Yeah no way can you say Sanchez bombed at Arsenal. He was almost unplayable for a season or two and single handedly kept them in the champions league. Different story at the Mancs though. Forced to comply with Mourinhos turgid football system he just didn't look the same player as he did for Arsenal and Chile.

Micky is a weird one. He looked the perfect player, hardworking, skilful, goals and creativity from midfield...but has been a monumental failure at both clubs. I think the league is too fast paced for him.

Eriksen gone to inter.

What’s perplexed me is his weird hand in this weird announcement. Anyone remember Salad Fingers?

We should have signed him for that price and loaned him out for 2 years. Some signing for them

It's a great signing, we can use Shef Utd as the PL proving ground the same way we've used Southampton.

Have we ever signed anyone who has gone on loan and then brought them back to become a regular 1st team player?

Dont think we've ever had the spare funds to pay now and it not help the first team.

The way prices are going and we've eyed up players like Chilwell and Maddison who were too raw for us but now too expensive. Sign them on a 5 year deal, 2 seasons somewhere and reevaluate them could save us a fortune for minimal risk.

I agree, its a great option, shame we don't seem to be willing to stretch a bit and blood some of these great prospect elsewhere. Low risk to the 1st team and minimal risk financially.

Isn't that what Chavs did?....except they continually fucked up their reevaluation

Yep, if you are throwing bids around at the end of a window it tends to be desperation. Utd linked with Josh King now

Good player, but they have Mount, CHO, Willian and Pulisic, would've thought they needed a striker first, also, would probably rule them out of the Sancho running.

Meanwhile Sterling's agents keep flirting with us: "“Even if Raheem is attached to Manchester City, he hasn't forgotten Liverpool, because that's where he became who he is as a man and as a player,” the representative is quoted as saying.Of course, there was controversy surrounding his exit, but since then, time has run its course and everything is possible.” (source - https://tribuna.com/en/liverpoolfc/n...-52a4f12d5b11/)

This is just pathetic at this point.

Yep, and there's no way he'd come back here, it's just posturing for an improved contract or big money move to Spain
