Our Under 19’s flogged Porto 4-0 in the CL YOUTH CUP thingy yesterday. Pretty good performance actually.

Just watched the highlights of the U23’s match vs Palace. Gordon had a tame penalty saved but then late on he was released on the 1/2 way line & despite 4 defenders around him he cut back onto his left foot from 18 yds out & hit a beauty into the far corner.
Pitaluga in goals was absolutely brilliant & certainly looks a talent. They had a great period were he made countless saves to keep us in it.
2-0 we won it with Woltman scoring his 7th of the season & I think he said that puts us top of the table over the Ev.

I was trying to watch that on GO but the link just took me to goals of the season or whatever it was. Tried numerous times too.

I know youth games can be high scoring but that's nuts

2 goals for Cannonier, Chambers scored a peno. Tyler Roberts scored for Wolves just before half-time.

Cannonier should have had another, getting into a good position to receive the cross, but the keeper saves.

1-4 to Liverpool. Cannonier draws the keeper to the right and cross to the far post for Bobby Clark to nod it in.

1-5 Harvey Blair who wrestled his way through the opposition half to score.

Liverpool were the team dominating the opening stages at Aggborough, though Reds goalkeeper Luke Hewitson remained alert when called upon to produce a smart save to deny Trialist C.
After knocking on the door during the opening stages of the contest, Jake Cain opened the scoring for the U21s inside the opening 20 minutes with a composed finish into the bottom left corner of the goal. Despite failing to keep out this effort, Kidderminster keeper Tom Palmer comfortably collected a deflected effort from Musialowski to rebuild his confidence.
Lewtas’ side had been cruising the contest up until this point, though came close to being caught out twice by Trialist C who forced the Reds’ central defensive duo, Luke Chambers and Lee Jonas, into unforced errors. Hewitson, making his first start for the U21s between the sticks, was responding well to every effort sent in his direction.
Top reporting from The Echo there. Forever to be known as TRIALIST C
