It's interesting because even though it's levelled at him a loy, I don't think laziness or motivation is his biggest problem. I don't think he's an intelligent footballer.

He's capable of creative genius, moments that look great but he plays entirely off of his intuition in a lot of moments with limited success. This is why I think, it doesn't matter where Paul pogba goes to play, he will not realise his potential.

Same with Alli.

They were both really good at one stage though. When they were a lot younger. Before either of them were coached by Mourinho

Perhaps they both need to be played as genuine free roles. Because they aren't tactically intelligent enough

Yeah, Khan's tweet was likely intended as kind of humorous, but Rashford's response makes Khan look like a plank.

Seems United will go for Sarr if they don't get Sancho, a bit of a climb down for them, is he much of an upgrade on James? Fair to say their fans aren't too happy

That'd be a disaster for both of them. He's all raw potential and he needs a club and a manager with time and patience to mold all that. United most definitely isn't that club.

Case in point it seems like Van Der Beek is fed up already and his agent is moaning:

Swart told Dutch outlet VoetbalPrimeur: "A substitute; I don't like it at all. I couldn't do it, coming on with four minutes left. You'd have to leave me on the bench. But normally they should have lost 7-1. Brighton hit the post and the bar five times. They (Brighton) have a nice team, but that shouldn't happen to Manchester United."

The great thing is that Woodward is still drawing the ire of their fans.

Ole is relatively untarnished. Long may it continue

...when we were being linked with Sarr, seemed to be more of a longer-term Klopp project than a 'straight into the first team' signing. With OGS, it'd be a nightmare for the kid, immediate expectations put on him, save the season, get us UCL top 4 and score loads unlike the current crop of strikers... if I was Sarr, I'd be swerving that opportunity. Somewhere like Leicester or Palace would be a much better fit.

What's amazing is their almost blinkered focus on improving their front line.

They deserpately need to improve their defence in particular the central defenders ( I know slabahead was 75M so must be awesome) and the central midfield is slow and cumbersome and offers little to no cover to the defence.

What I find amazing is that Manc fans I know banging on about getting in Sancho as he'll make them title challengers immediately. I mean cracking young player but the solution to all their woes he most certainly isnt!

It's funny that they are so blind to the fact that they need to start with the coaching set up. If I was coaching Messi he'd be ok still but the team would probably lose most games

Apparently (well according to RC) sadly this bloke isn't actually his agent.

Why are Manchester United finding it so hard to sign players?

In his typically forthright style, former Manchester United skipper Gary Neville has underlined what many of the club's fans are thinking. Why are the club finding it so hard to sign anyone?

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified three areas of weakness, a wide right-sided player, left-back and central defence.

But, despite being linked with scores of players, so far they are yet to add to their solitary close-season purchase, 35m Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

"It's appalling that in this market, which is probably the easiest in Premier League history to get transfers done, that United haven't done more yet," grumbled Neville on Twitter. "The others are managing to get things over the line, why not United?"

....

Neville may believe deals are easy to do but in addition to not signing players, United are having difficulty realising their assets.

Andreas Pereira is set to join Lazio on loan but there are half a dozen other first-team players available for sale that United are yet to move on.

Chris Smalling has been training on his own, hoping to return to Roma, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell last season. Smalling knows agreement is not certain, which would effectively turn him into an outcast.

It is not what the former England man wants. However, he will accept the situation if that is what occurs, leaving United picking up a hefty wage bill for someone who is not getting picked. Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo are other central defenders who fit into the same category.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54349931

Can't get rid of Smalling, Jones and Rojo. Easy to forget that they've got some really shit players.

The major issue is in the picture.

Who the fuck would want to play for him? Lets hope they continue to blame Woodward

As has been said elsewhere Jurgen has been instrumental in attracting players. Starting with Big Virg.

if you add in Woodward its the perfect storm of shit management, Basically a club knows that at one point, United will shit a load and pay whatever the asking price was initially.
