Buzzed off his celebration. What a goal it was. That first half performance was as good a performance as you're likely to see from a left back. He's absolutely world class. Nuts really isn't it.

I was at the match with buzzo, it took 4 stewards to restrain him from getting on the pitch when Robbo scored.

Could be one of the moments of the season but unfortunately the turn of the match somewhat overshadowed it, but it'll still get a few replays

And remember, Marcelo got into that FIFA thinginmebob.

It’d be nice to see him contribute a few goals to add to his awesome assist stats.

Chilwell on Robbo:

Quote:
He’s a great player. He’s been the best full-back in the world, I’d say, and that’s not even an exaggeration.

I definitely watch his game, as someone who’s a little older, and when Liverpool are on TV, I watch him to see what he’s doing and how I can improve.

Someone like him, who’s getting assists and going forward, he’s one of the best.

But he’s also very good defensively as well so he’s definitely someone that I look up to at the moment.

Hopefully I can challenge him and I’m confident that I can be challenging him as one of the best in the world as well.

Chilwell is some player as well. Has got bags of ability. Remember that we were in for him before we signed Robbo.

He'll end up at City - they tried for him before Mendy

That shove on Messi will stick in my mind for a long time I reckon. Messi ponces around looking to get players carded all the time the twat so it’s nice to see someone give it to him. Robbo really got under his skin with that power play I think.

I know that I couldn't be further from MOTDx's target demographic...

I caught some of it the other and it was an awful experience.

And Jermaine Jenas has a completely different accent on this programme. Does he put on a BBC voice when he's on regular MOTD?

I heard he's working on his received pronunciation for when he takes over from Linekar in a few years.

A snippet from an interview Trent did with The Athletic:

Quote:
TAA: For some reason Robbo hits a moving ball a hundred times better than a static ball. Why? No-one really knows! That’s why sometimes when he’s taking a corner, it needs to be rolled out to him. Some people like the ball moving, some like it static.

Just can't get over how good he is, how lucky we are...well, not lucky.....but blessed to have the two best full-backs in the league. Both Trent and Robbo are going to go down as all time LFC greats.

8m for the pair City have probably spent 200m+ on full backs alone and still not close to these 2

Insane that he wasn't making the matchday squad until December in his first season til Mad Albert got injured.

First 20 league and CL games he played twice, bench 4 times and the rest left out.

Played a lot of minutes since then, I hope that 3/4 month break has kept his legs somewhat fresh. I worry about his and Trents minutes.

I think playing in this midfield is a lot more complex and you could see Fab struggling when he came in, the Robertson thing just seemed odd but Klopp isn't afraid of leaving signings out until they get to grips. Dont think we'll see Mbappe until November

Didn't Robbo play one game, do awesome and then be back on the bench for weeks???

I remember loads of people scratching their heads at the time.

Oxlade was the same though. Hardly got a look in for the first couple of months. It's almost like Klopp breaks them and then rebuilds them
