Biggest relief of the night after the first own goal was seeing Adrian and not Mig/Karius coming on.

He looked comfortable with the ball at his feet last night, some nice passing.

He wasn't expecting that, that's for sure, but let's hope he can keep things ticking over for the next month or two.
Probably should have held onto a late shot straight at him, but recovered fine. Goals happen, especially to us lately, so can't really look at him for theirs last night.

Hope he does a job for us.......Not sure he's 'better' than Mig, but it's not like we'd learn anything new with Mig slotting into the team in similar circumstances, so fuck it.

He looks a popular figure and well liked already and a bit of a character. Tough situation for him to be tossed into but I'm sure he'll be fine. At the end of the day we defend as a unit so he can't be blamed for all the goals we ship.

I could imagine the reactions if this happened & Mig was our number 2 still

“ Season is over”
“ we’re fecked”
“ May as well concede now”
“ just hope we can get 4th”

This isn’t aimed at anyone in particular by the way.

Imagine?

Check the threads, that was the reaction pre-season even before Alisson was injured.

It was a stark contrast to the reception that Adrian received

Hopefully that helps build his confidence for the next month or however long Alisson is out for.

The little pause where he weighs up whether to do it or not just ads to it. He is comedy gold. One of the most refreshing voices in sport not just football.

So happy for the guy. To be training with his home town ( 6th division) team only 2 weeks ago & he gave them vouchers to buy some gear they needed while he was there & here’s his pay day . I’m so happy when good things happen to good people.
