Well under the cosh, but finding a few openings in that defence

So...Utd to get a draw probably the result we would all like?

Obviously seeing them hammered would be great entertainment, but there is a title to be thinking of.

Sissoko no ?

In other news, though hardly news, Trippier is a massive wanker.

Interesting times.

Spurs lose this and I think we're down to a two horse race.

Can't fault the run they're on though, that could be 15 from 15 including one away vs the top 3. Hopefully they'll give the job to OGS and it'll turn out a honeymoon period

Yep. Can’t see Spurs overtaking both us and City if they lose.

Gulp.

True, and I expect them to get some points out of those. Hopefully City, but realistically Chelsea.

They're much better away from home than at home this season. 2.5 points per game away versus at home 2

They had a decent side but Mourinho wasn't playing some of their better players and the style of play didn't suit those players.

I don't think that they are a great side but over a full season they are a top 4 side. Whether they get it or not this season probably depends on how well Chelsea (and maybe Spurs) do for the rest of the season

Hopefully the players are just on a high now because the dour shit that was Mouriho has gone and they are all putting that extra effort in, hopefully OGS will get the job in the summer and when that becomes the norm they will stop putting in their extra effort to prove Mourinho was the problem and drop down a level or two.

An impressive 5 consecutive league victories has seen united rise from 6th place to now sit in 6th place

True. Could really do with them taking points off City.

Having said that, you could argue that every game is an away game from them. Their fans absolutely hate Wembley.

To be fair, with a bit better finishing, they would have swatted that United side in the second half.

They're a good side.

No one gets a wank fest quite like De Gea when he saves a shot straight at him. Made lots of saves but you'd be fuming if your goalie conceded any of them. Some shocking finishing by Tottenham.

A nothing club.

De Gea won them the game today, although Spurs finishing was poor.

But what is the situation with De Gea's contract, they activated the year extension just before Christmas, so he has 18 months left, will they sell him in the summer to get money for him, let his contract run down, or will he sign a new contract with them? If he isn't going to sign a contract selling him this summer could make sense.

in fairness he almost forces the attacker’s to shoot right at him by staying big so long. I’d be quite happy for him to reproduce that vs City and go back to World Cup De Gea vs us.

That's above the knee. Did he get booked for it or will the FA be able to investigate?

You could argue that he was avoiding Ali's raised boot while executing a turn at the same time?
