My memory does recall we were pretty bloody good yesterday but I think a re-watch is in order anyway!

Nothing like beating the Aussies at sport.

There's probably a lesson here for us as LFC fans regarding team sports and selections/decisions about big players.

Brian O'Driscoll must never play for LFC again.

Wayne Barnes is possibly the worst referee in the whole world (and he's also a f***ing tw*t) but he had no option.

Think he got off fairly lightly in the circumstances:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/24154608

Gloucester prop Nick Wood has been banned for eight weeks for stamping on Saracens flanker Jacques Burger's head.

Wood was shown the second-fastest red card in Premiership history just 73 seconds into Sunday's game at Allianz Park, which Sarries won 44-12.

The 30-year-old's case was heard in Bristol by a three-man Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel.

An RFU statement read: "He is suspended from September 18 until November 12 and can play again the following day."

He will miss Premiership matches against Northampton, Newcastle, Exeter, Bath and Wasps, Heineken Cup ties with Perpignan and Munster and the LV Cup meeting against Northampton.

The fastest sending-off in Premiership history remains Mick Watson's dismissal after 42 seconds when playing for London Scottish against Bath in May 1999.

You can't beat a Leinster v Munster clash to whet your appetite before the Heineken Cup.

Ireland international hooker Richardt Strauss has been diagnosed with a heart condition and he will not play again this season.

Strauss, 27, is set to undergo surgery this week, his provincial team Leinster announced.

The South Africa-born player made his Ireland debut against the Springboks last year. He has won four caps, but missed the whole of last season's RBS 6 Nations Championship because of an ankle ligament injury.

"Following the result of extensive medical tests, it has emerged that Ireland hooker Richardt Strauss has been diagnosed with a heart condition and will be unavailable for selection for the remainder of the season," Leinster said, in a statement.

"The management are confident that the 27-year-old, who is set to undergo surgery this week, will make a full recovery and will provide him with the best care in his recovery."

Strauss joined Leinster in 2009 and he has been an integral part of their squad since then, playing key roles in the 2010 and 2012 Heineken Cup final victories over Northampton and Ulster, respectively.

Leinster, meanwhile, rate star centre Brian O'Driscoll as having a 50-50 chance of being fit for next Saturday's Heineken opener against the Ospreys in Swansea.

O'Driscoll is nursing a calf muscle strain, and Leinster say at this stage he has not been ruled out of the selection mix.

South Africa international back Zane Kirchner could also be in the frame for next weekend after linking up with his new team-mates following commitments in the Rugby Championship.

Poor wasn't he.

Conceding a try pretty much straight after taking the lead knocked the wind out of England as well. if they could have held on for 10 mins then it might have turned out differently.

Definitely, England had all the momentum and go forward but new Zealand capitalised on England's inability to clear their line and the stemmed from Tom youngs

Tom Youngs was woeful wasn't he, his line outs were really poor and his handling was not up to it either.

I think the team can take some real positives from the performance though
