Would be tempting at a bargain price. Maybe he could do a reverse Torres.

I guess it depends how much of a bargain price given his record last year it looks like a risk, that said I think he was rather unlucky last year and is a better player than his numbers showed, so at the right price FSG might see value in it, particularly given how strongly we were supposedly interested last year.

No way Chelsea have that to spend. You can only stretch FFP so far.

I think Werner will be on so much cash that we wouldn't go near him. I think i read that he is on 250k per week plus bonuses...... I think LFC would pay that much but would be heavily incentivised to get to that. Plus I suspect that we didn't think much of his attitude....

Pulisic is the guy from Chelsea I wouldn't mind seeing at LFC. But would probably prefer Saul if those rumours are true

Not that FFP is really thing but they have some very saleable assets Ziyech, Pulisic, Odoi, Werner and probably a few more.

Chelsea have a better chance of winning the league this season than we have. IMO, and so I can't see why Pulisic would want to trade them for us

Based on what? We finished second last year with half our team out.

Im not sure if we will win it, but I expect us to be dueling City for top spot.

Not sure if posted elsewhere already but Felipe Anderson going back to Lazio for absolute peanuts, 2.8 mil.

So much raw talent, still only 28. Perhaps it would have gone differently if he'd joined a better team with a different style.

32 mil loss for the hammers

No to Werner, he's nowhere near as effective against teams using the low block and not a clinical finisher.

99 pct of teams will continue to set up vs LFC with a low block next season except for the likes of city.

Based on the amount of money they're investing, having a decent manager now and quite a good squad already

I wonder if they get half of these guys because they promise them a big move if the offer comes in?

It’s part of the model and they know Dortmund is a stepping stone to the next place - we laid them for their transfer acumen but they win f all so it isn’t a “successful” strategy. It also makes it hard with Bayern there hoovering every good player up.

Mino R is tapped into that with Haaland and now Malen

big wages for youths, big agent fees, guaranteed playing time.

must be a bit annoying being a stepping stone and losing all the good players but at least you get them in the first place?

Wouldn't be surprised if Dortmund asks for Werner to be included in deal.

I suppose if everyone knows the score then it's kind of ok? Like somehow going out with a girl clearly a few leagues above you for a while

Some depth to their fullbacks Justin has done his ACL though.

Castagne, Pereira, Bertrand, Thomas, Justin.

Gil is a nice little signing for them. Will be interesting to see if he adapts to getting the shit kicked out of him in the Premier after he nutmegs a few.

In paper they are spending the Grealish money well - Bailey, Buendia and possibly Ward Prowse. If they signed Tammy Abraham I think they be pushing top 6

I think he'll be class if he stays fit and potentially on his way for a mega fee to the big clubs in a couple of years.
Absolutely rapid, skilful, decent goalscoring record for a wide forward who is still only 23

Could be a good player here I reckon. Ward Prowse certainly is. Grealish funds being spent well, as we proved you can trade up losing your best asset.
