Its a bit more, Messi Ä3m a month, Neymar Ä2.5, mbappe Ä1.5, ronaldo £2m....

I'd imagine its quite possible that his agent has requested this as a starting point? Nice work if you can get it.

A lot of our contracts are incentivised...i wonder how close we would actually be to £500K with bonuses etc added on? Probably still about 200k out?

You'd have to sell if that's the required wages.

That should be outlawed hey. Agents fees should be 10% of the selling price full stop

Yeah ok heíd be expensive thatís for sure but heíd have resale value whereas Mo will depreciate in value over the next year or two.

That's nothing. United make that per minute in shirt sales.

Oh, there's another mil made.

Agents should be paid by their clients and not getting massive sums as part of a transfer. Let the players pay their own agent from their own cut.

So we will either pay up and get Mo on a long term contract that will become a financial burden should we need to sell and rebuild as very few clubs will be able to match his wages and will they pay it for a near 30 year old...
Or we sell him and reinvest the money to bring in some younger forward players.
Would we get a Coutinho payday as he only has a year left and is almost 30 years old.

5th fastest to the 100 in PL history. Not bad for a winger.

Technically Henry was a winger too but I'm not sure if he started there for Arsenal.

Thatís the company he is in though. Henry, Shearer, Aguero (and Kane ) guys that are viewed as Prem legends.

I still think we donít appreciate him, and more importantly what he has achieved playing for us.

Absolutely, he's a phenomenon. I wonder if he'd be the player he is now if we'd have signed him instead of Chelsea?

He's started the season in very good form. I think his touch and workrate are already better than last season. He seems stronger as well. Encouraging.

I also think he seems very happy in his work, he seems way more content. It feels like something has changed, but I couldnít say what.

I still love how pissed off he gets when the right pass isnít made. That hunger sets the standards.

Some of the little flicks and backheels he does are wonderful. What a brilliant all round footballer he is.

It was like roles reversed yesterday with Mane being the selfish one desperate to score

3 for Salah already, 2 for Mane and 2 for Jota. Off to a great start

That floated ball that Jota controlled with his chin was sublime. What a player!
