They're complaining about PSG not actually paying anything because of Quatar, meanwhile Barca have been whoring themselves out to Quatar for years... It's really funny.

Actually yeah fuck them, Barca and Real have been lording it over La Liga's media money for years, it's nice for one of them to be fucked over for once.
That said this could happen to us and we'd be fuming.

Looks like he's actually going to join PSG
BBC reporting he's been given permission by Barca to join PSG in a 198 million deal

Barcelona says Neymar wants to leave club amid PSG rumors
MANU FERNANDEZ and JOSEPH WILSON Associated Press

SANT JOAN DESPI, Spain - Barcelona says Neymar plans to leave the club amid rumors of a blockbuster move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The club says the Brazil striker told his teammates Wednesday "that he had the intention of leaving the club and seeking his future elsewhere, and the coach has given him permission to leave training."
PSG is rumored to be ready to pay his release clause of 222 million euros ($262 million). That would dwarf the 105 million euros (then $116 million) that Manchester United paid for France midfielder Paul Pogba last year.
Barcelona says Neymar left the training ground 30 minutes after arriving on Wednesday.

Blimey, bit of a potential game changer for PSG if they pull this off.
UEFA might as well kill FFP though, it isn't working.

Cheer up, I don't know how many times the manager has got to say he's not leaving before people believe it! We are a better side than them for sure now anyway!

You think that will get us Asensio? I hope we realize no ammount of cash can sufficiently replace Coutinho. There isn't anyone on the market. And the more money we'd get will just mean the more money people will want from us. We already supposedly have a ton of money but still can't bring any of our main targets because nobody wants to sell. It would fuck up our season for sure.
Don't be little bitches FSG, say no.

looks like that's how the market is going when you look at whats happening at arsenal.
Wenger clearing saying that he'd rather lose sanchez and ozil for nothing next year than sell them now. So looks like in-demand players will either be sold for massive fees or will be forced to see out their contracts.
There was talk barca would move for ozil if couts wasn't available so lets hope that happens quickly

FFS, it's a worry. Neymar will be the first big domino to fall. I still have some hope Phil would stay, but either way if Neymar goes it'll kick the market into action big time.

Indy running:, Ousmane Dembele, 20, and Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, 23
That'd replace Neymar no problem with cash to spare.

Klopp is right. This is what he said a week and a half ago.
Quote:
"If Neymar is not a rumour then pffff it's more than the next level, it's really not from this planet anymore.
"Really? Two hundred and twenty two million Euros? I can't believe that something like this would happen. But if it does happen then it changes everything actually."

Yup, they've made some really bad decisions in the transfer market the last few seasons.

Dembele has already been fighting his teammates in training, let's hope it works better for him than it did for Keita.

£198m is Fucking mental.
Almost impossible to believe that the Pogba transfer which seemed absolutely insane a year ago has been pretty much doubled.
The transfer market is going to go nuts now. Barca are going to want to spend big to show their fans they are not a 'selling club'

find it so bizarre how Suarez is constantly disregarded by Journos' all i read is Barca's struggles having 2 out of 3 of the best players in the world i.e Messi & Neymar
I would take Suarez over Neymar in a heartbeat.

He's miles better than Neymar.
I said it when Barca went out of the CL - and I still think it. We should offer them £80m (minimum) for Suarez. They're rebuilding, have a fortune to spend on the likes of Dembele, Dybala and others. They'd love £80m-£100m for a 30 year old and he'd win the league for us.

I read an article that said the crux of this is that to fulfil his potential Neymar has to become a World Player of the year to be held in the same esteem as Brazilians such as Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, (Origninal) Ronaldo etc. The problem he has at Barca, is that he will always play second fiddle (at least) to Messi. So to attempt to achieve the acclaim he needs to move.

lol - the crux of it is 50000000000000000000 euros a week
but if it is to get away from Messi's shadow then it might be worth someone letting Neymar know that PSG have never had anyone playing for them place in the top 3 for the world player/balon d'or

Of course it's about money. No-one watches the French League so he'll be hard pressed claiming the Ballon D'or

Thats true, the bit that doesn't fit at all is his choise of destination club. I suppose the problem is that probably only PSG and Man City can pony up the insane amount of cash from their (Oil) reserves.

There is no way that PSG can have that cash in the bank and comply with FFP.
According to FORBES:
Team Value1 $841 M (€775 M)
Revenue: $578 M (€521 M)
Operating Income: $92 M (€83 M)
Debt/Value: 0%
Match Day: $134 M
Broadcasting: $179 M
Commercial: $394 M
Baring in mind (pre Neymar) their staff costs were 56% of turnover in 2016.

They might as well can FFP, hasn't worked. Ludicrous to suggest otherwise.

This is why when this deal goes down PSG players are ripe for selling. They need to sell if they've any chance of FFP not coming down hard on them, again.
