Arsenal
And the stupid thing their PA announcer does, when reading out the lineups....calls out the first name of the player and the fans chant the surname, in an embarrassing and cringeworthy manner.
Is there any other proper, non-plastic club where such a shameless piece of fuckwittery occurs?
I just watched the buildup for their friendly, and this made my ears bleed.
Stupid idiots.

It's seriously shit.

Arsenal cant even win their own Emirates Cup
They draw 1-1 against New York Red Bulls...and there are boos from the home crowd at the final whistle

Thing is, they only played against NY RedBulls and Boca Juniors - the two weakest teams (didnt play against PSG). And they couldnt muster a win

It must be horrible to be judged unworthy by Craig though. I'd imagine you will stop it instantly now, right?

Hilarious. I didnt judge any Gold Coast team. What Arsenal do is pathetic, for a club like them. I imagine Gold Coast United arent quite the same as Arsenal Football Club.

It's up there with playing music when a goal is scored I'd be so embarrassed if we ever did things like that.

We average around 3000 fans per game so the commentator is trying to whip us into a frenzy and inspire the team

No one beats the Turks when it comes to this kind of stuff. Remember Gala a few years ago IIRC and the tannoy announcer would basically start and join in the chants during the game.

I actually quite like the thing they do at Arsenal. It gets there crowd going so there is nothing wrong with that.
So would you prefer every club to be the same?

I entirely agree. How would we be able to feel superior to supporters of other clubs if they were just like us? Why, it would be nothing but self-delusion.

And Inler. And they were pretty average anyway, would have much rather they got Rubin Kazan, that defensive style would have frustrated the shit out of them.

Their 1st leg vs Udinese is on 16th August at Emirates, with the 2nd leg on 23rd August over in Italy.
We play them away on 20th August, sandwiched right in between these two ties. Good stuff - already not being in Europe has the potential to benefit us.
Hopefully the tie is left in the balance after the first leg, meaning Wenger will have to play his strongest lineup for the 2nd leg - he may therefore consider resting one or two for our game against them.

I'd rather they had the away leg before playing us but you can't have everything.

Also, RvP and Nasri are suspended from the 1st leg - and Fabregas is anyone's guess
So the chances of Arsenal stuffing Udinese and having the tie sealed from just the 1st leg, SHOULD be fairly minimal...hopefully

Although it does mean RVP and Nasri should be fresh against us, provided they are a) not injured, b) not sold.

They'll be available and fresh against us - but if they dont get a good 1st leg result, might Wenger possibly want to save them for the 2nd leg out in Italy?

Surely you'd have thought they'd be capable of managing two matches in a few days if they've had the previous weekend off.
