Tend to agree but think it's a generational thing - I work with two Citeh fans - both under 25 and both arrogant, cocky, smug-faced little shits and both think Citeh will walk every competition. Lauding it over other fans with their 'we can buy anyone we want' mentality. I know another 60 year old City fan who just has a healthy rivalry with his Utd mates and has respect for LFC and they way Klopp's changed things since his arrival... Night and day.

Any city fans who supported them in league 2 and remember watching the sean goater will have a sense of humility, but any with an aguero shirt are wankers.

Pep was at his shithouse best yesterday. What an arrogant twat he is. Blowing up about any decision that goes against them and whinging non stop because we have the audacity to tackle their players

God i hope they implode soon.

Pep is just a non-stop agitated prick these days.

What is this gesture he makes at Henderson?

I don't wish injury on a rival's player but when it happens, I'm not unhappy about it..

Nah, fuck em. Anything that levels the playing field where those cunts are concerned. Lovely injuries to Sterling and Aguerooooooh after the end of the window pretty please. Still leaves them with Jesus, Silva, Goater, Mahrez and loads I can't think of

I think they were for selling him anyway. Means they don't get about £70m in change, like they'll give a fuck.

Hope so, its the only thing likely to bring their dominance to an end. That and Pep leaving but one will likely follow the other.

Worth persevering with, the tone changes

Here's the bit about the FFP investigation

Quote:
The really big step, however, was Der Spiegel’s Football Leaks in November 2018. Controversially unveiling so many internal club policies and decision-making processes on everything from media policy to Financial Fair Play, it only brought further scrutiny on the exact intentions and workings of this whole project.

The details of those leaks have already directly led to new investigations from Uefa over allegations of lying about violations of Financial Fair Play regulations.

City have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing but high-level sources close to the situation feel the club will be found guilty when it all comes to a head around September, and that a suspension from the Champions League for up to three seasons will be recommended. Such an outcome would certainly complicate the legacy of this time, and maybe bring some other descriptions of the club.

3 years is still pretty crap but at least it'd actually feel like a punishment rather than that pathetic 1 year that was being said, that'd just be utterly pointless. But given the scale of cheating and the arrogance and refusal to admit any guilt that has come with it they should be looking at much, much longer.

Genuine question - where's left for him though?

PSG?

He's done Barca, Bayern - the Italians can't really compete... even Juventus are stretching themselves financially but are nowhere near in the same league as PSG or City..

Is FFP a league matter too? I mean, should they be starting the season on -30 points like Luton were a while back?

Pep sees himself as a purist - he'll want to manage there. He played for Brescia and Roma and I suspect the national team afterwards

Champions League has much broader appeal than the premier league. The less competitive the premier league is, the even less appealing it will be to fans outside of England.

He wants success in the Champions League, nondoubt about that

Sure man. Qatar got the WC because they're the best location and it's a level playing field that can't be corrupted.
