Or....
The saps probably didn't like all the 'Sead and Mesut' tough guy stuff going on across the media since they were made look like saps.
Few death threats etc etc
Should put their heads under the car next time.

Arsenal have great attacking options in Auba, Laccazette, Pepe & Ceballos but unfortunately for Emry he can't seem to fit them all into the starting 11. Their defence is atrocious & Xhaka has to be one of the worst players in the league.

Emery seemed to be trying to copy us a bit i.e. three explosive attackers, and three workman like midfielders.
The execution was terrible though, despite their comeback. Watching them yesterday gave me a new appreciation for how good we have it, the work Klopp and the coaching staff have done, and the recruitment we've done too.

Pepe looks pretty average so far. Particularly considering the price tag. It’s mad that £50-70m signings don’t come under all that much scrutiny these days.
He looks quick but has no end product. Look at Mane and Salah, signed for less but both were instantly banging goals in for us.
Arsenal will score goals against shit teams, but will concede in tight matches.

He'll be decent for them IMO, but a good few of his goals did come from the spot last season.

Ceballos

Quote:
Liverpool, Ceballos says, was quite a lesson. It takes him a moment to order his thoughts. “I’ve never seen anything like what I saw at Anfield; I haven’t seen a team that plays better, that presses like them, the way the fans carry them along.
“They take the air from you. You spend so much time defending and when you want to do something with the ball, when you want to breathe, they’re back on top of you. They’re very well-drilled.”
Is that something Unai Emery seeks to emulate? “We can’t compare it at the moment. We’re working on some similar things but Jürgen Klopp arrived at Liverpool in 2015. Unai came last season. Arsenal finished a point short of the Champions League and a small step from winning the Europa League; his arrival will be positive. In a few years Arsenal will be in the top 10 teams globally, competing for everything.

This was their bench against Watford:
11 Torreira
21 Chambers
24 Nelson
26 Martínez
28 Willock
35 Martinelli Silva
77 Saka
Are they going through an injury crisis? I don't recognize half of those.

It's more a comment that he's essentially another Gervinho - decent on the ball but zero end product so far.

Martinelli look like a baller, the player Pepe should've been perhaps.
They should be throwing him now, looks better than a lot of their other forwards not withstanding the main two. Saka is pretty good. Its just a shame (for them) that their midfield and defence is utter shite.

Apparently he wasn’t their worst performer or particularly at fault for anything today?
Xhaka gets jeered regularly, he’s received death threats. Even his wife has been harassed in public. No wonder he snapped.

When I heard something had happened when he came off I thought much worse than that. He barely did anything.
