Getting the home dressing room for the final despite being the designated 'away' team.

Cant believe how expensive getting to Madrid is, and no hotels available.

After an expensive final last year, its all bit too much. The club was asked to push the season payment back last year and refused, I see Tottenham have just delayed theirs to next month because of the final.

City players are paying for travel to Wembley next week, even half a days wage from our first team would knock £100's off or one of sponsors doing it for some good PR.

All talk of how much the fans are appreciated and fuck all help.

I checked 3 months ago and the Plymouth to Bilboa ferry was something like 700 return for 4 on a flexi fare. Should have booked it!

Sucks to be in that position mate. Feel for you.

There was an incredibly patronising article in The Guardian yesterday about how us and Spurs were learning how markets work. Like it's never occurred before

Europa final? If it was the week earlier it would've been May 25th too

Shame the club dont help... even by pushing season ticket payment back to end of June.

Luckily I was already booked to be in Portugal for stag do so its not ridiculous prices to get to Madrid from there. However wont be booking no accommodation... its a joke.

Anyone else done the Thomas Cook travel through the club? Have you heard anything yet to have it confirmed after getting your ticket?

If I recall last year, they phone you to confirm. I was unsuccessful in the ballot for Kiev but they still phoned to check that I hadn't been registered for a ticket by someone else successful in the ballot.

I've got 3 chances this year as two family members can't go and will buy the ticket in my name if they are successful and I'm not. If that happens, I'll phone TC myself just to make sure.

Got a back up with accommodation and tickets for a screening in Liverpool if can't get to Madrid. Won't go to Madrid if unsuccessful in the ballot.

Based on last year, I'm guessing they will offer people unsuccessful in the ballot first dibs to buy tickets for the club official screening (not Anfield this year but M&S Bank Arena)

Not announced yet - but I think that they may give first dibs to those unsuccessful in the ballot.

Ouch.

I'm supposed to be on a flight with them in the summer, they'd better not go tits up between now and then.

It's the inconvenience, plus the fact that if they waited until a week or two before (maybe even a month or two before) to finally tip over the edge, chances are it would be nigh on impossible to get suitable alternative flights.
