My last hope for Timmy is for him to blast Levy in the last game of the season

Spurs are shot to pieces. It will take some major rebuilding to get them challenging the top 4 again.

The amount of repair work them, Arsenal and the Mancs will need make me think transfer fees could spiral this summer. World Cup off seasons are usually the worst time to be signing players as well!

Would anyone make a cut price move for Lamela? Was very good at Roma by all accounts

A lot of their players would thrive at LFC

Lamela is obviously a good player but I reckon the guy just doesn't want to be there or in this country. Pretty sure he'll want to go back to Italy or a Spanish-speaking country. Would be too much of a risk for us and I suspect there are other players with similar or greater talent who'd be a better fit for us and have the mental strength to cope.

A few good judges reckon Paulinho would be a great fit for us but having watched him I just don't see it. Reminds me of Lampard - pops up in threatening positions, scores goals, but otherwise doesn't seem to contribute massively to a game.

Casemore could learn a lot off you Shaggy. Well constructed response

I was going to write why I thought we should leave well alone but I couldn't be arsed

Suffice to say I can see similarities with him and Aqualani which was an expensive disaster

Wonder who'll replace Allegri then as he just doesn't seem suited to the Premier League? Is Franco Baldini holding people hostage at Spurs?!

From all those big names to Allegri.

I've been on a couple of Spurs Forums and their hatred for us on some of the forums is quite astonishing. On that note i hope the fuckers spend more millions on shit players and the manager merry go round continues. Any spurs fans reading this you're nothing more than the Everton of London.

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has admitted that he does not know his best team because so many of his players are "much of a muchness".

Sherwood said that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and striker Emmanuel Adebayor stood out as exceptions, with Christian Eriksen just behind that pair.

"I have assessed the players more than anyone. I could not tell you the best 11 players at Tottenham," he said.
"They're are all so similar, much of a muchness regarding the same quality."

Didn't know it was an idiom. Thought he was trying to string together a few 'muchs' and he lost his way midway

Sunday papers ..... Spurs are eyeing up a move for United striker Danny Welbeck, 23, as Daniel Levy looks for a top-class striker.
