I’d like to see the gap exceed 10 points to take the wind out of Leicester’s sails.

Yes, a little setback to Leicester's momentum would be perfect.

If Vardy gets injured Leicester are in trouble but it does seem that the fucker hardly ever gets injured. We play them shortly away so will be a tough game, would be lovely for Villa to grab anything from this game.

Glorious City lost yesterday too, petulant pep.

I thought that in the season they won it, Vardy was out for a while and, Okazaki stepped up and filled the void.

Anyways, they're the best of the rest but no way they're a threat

Nope, Vardy started all but 2 of their league games. The 2 he missed were through suspension.

Amazingly, heís only ever missed 2 games through injury for Leicester.

I think we can put any Leicester title challenge to bed on boxing day if we beat them. Would be nice to see Villa do a job on them though.

Injuries only seem to count for us if Mane, Salah or Van Dijk do their ACL. It's bizarre. Meanwhile if a City player has a cold then boy does the whole world get to hear about it and how hard done by they are. Don't think we've even got to field what everyone would say is our strongest team once yet this season but yes, we never have any players missing

if we can pick up 2 more points than city between now and end of March, we could win the league in their gaff with a win in the first week in April.

Provided that Leicester have fallen behind City by this point.

I think I'd rather we capitulate and see Utd come from behind to win the title than lose the league to Rodgers. He already thinks he's bigger than Jesus.

Fair enough. Although perhaps heíll have gone some way to earning that opinion of himself, if he were to beat both Klopp and Guardiola with Leicester

So looking ahead... if we beat Watford, Leicester most likely beat Norwich. Stays same as at the top.

Then we head off for the World Club.

Leicester play City. Huge game for all of us. City need the win.

If they get it we stay 11 ahead of City and 8 ahead of Leicester with a game in hand.

We then play Leicester away. Win that for an 11 point lead with a game in hand and we are in a pretty much unstoppable position.

It’s a big game. But we play in Qatar in the 21st and I’d imagine will fly straight back. Leicester play City the same night.

I certainly wouldn’t bet against us.

What's the worst case scenario?

Leicester beat City who remain 14pts back and close the gap to 5pts on us, then they beat us and close it to 2pts, us having a game in hand.

They wonít have had the 7000 mile round trip flights though.
They ought to have a clear advantage in terms of being fresh for this fixture.

Absolute worst is if we lose to Watford and Leicester beat Norwich and City they go into the game with us 2pts behind us, if they beat us they go 1pt ahead of us, with us having a game in hand
