Not so sure that's a good move for him.

He needs to win one or two more titles with Rangers to prove it wasn't a fluke, then he can move to a team at the beginning of the season.

Villa would be a good move at the beginning of the season.

I just want to see Morales in the PL the new Costa!

Even at the start of the season and after a few title wins is it a good move for him, Villa at the moment are in a relegation battle and have just undergone a fairly significant overhaul with players he didn't choose, I wouldn't say that's really a good situation to move into. I would assume he would ideally want to make a move like Rodgers did when the time comes.

I'm no fan of Rangers but he's done a magnificent job there.

They were miles off Celtic when he joined as manager. Celtic were odds on the claim 10 in a row at the time of Gerrard joining.

It's testament to his ability that he managed to turn things around (couple with Celtic being horrifically mismanaged post Brendan)

Same, and I agree.

I have also noticed how is 'presence' as a manager is developing. He really sounds like a manager. He knows the right things to say and when to say them. He gets the right messages across.

That is a big development for me. He is destined to get a chance in the PL sooner or later. I wonder though, if he doesnt fancy sticking at Rangers for a bit longer to continue his apprenticeship.

I think that he will want to work his way up to the Liverpool job, do that for a few years and then will call it a day. Maybe sit next to Ian Rush and Kenny at the LFC games after that.

LOL. You'd think a football manager would be a better option.

If Frank Lampard is the answer what the hell was the question?

"Who can get us relegated quicker than Farke"?

Reckon Gerrard will go for the Villa job? I’m skeptical.

I posted elsewhere, I reckon he will bide his time. Rangers is the perfect platform for him right now. A job like Villa? He may be on a hiding to nothing.

There is no doubt he is becoming a better manager every year, and we all know the job he really wants.

Villa doesn't make sense IMO either

I didn't realise Nuno Espirito Santo was August manager of the month and sacked before the October manager of the month was announced, so one of only 2 managers of the month before he got sacked

Looking increasingly likely Lampard will be new Norwich manager

The truth is they have had a series of managers many of them big names who have done nothing. As a result they are left with an expensively assembled squad of shite

The pressure from the fans on the board means something has to give, even if they restructure the club so as to have a clear style of play and coherent plan the fans wouldn't want him to be the one in charge of it, just seems like a matter of time.
