Liverpool vs Ajax - Champions League Group D (20/21 - Game 5)
It's on tonight.
...This is too much football right?
Its like we are being force fed football now.
The following www as ever the best place to ascertain all of the details.
Some players are fit for this, some are injured
A win takes us through as winners, a draw takes us through... I think I read that anyway this morning.

Buzzo started the match day thread?
Pretty much confirms that we're getting beat this evening.

Fucking hell that lad in goal has looked really shit in the league Cup.
Says a lot about Adrian.
Why does Allison keep getting niggling injuries? Keepers don't normally pick so many do they?

Happy to see an Irishman playing for LFC but Kelleher has liked shite when he played - he is decent with the ball at his feet though........ (watch that phrase come back and haunt me now.....)

It's pretty grim. Kelleher is about as terrifying as Adrian

How many times you’ve seen Kelleher play? We need to trust Klopp on this.

Too right. Game hasn't even started and he's been written off.

Kelleher has been a car crash any time I've seen him. But there's a decent team in front of him at least.
Looking forward to non PL refereeing at least.
I'd take a draw.

Draw is all we need to qualify.
We need to take our chances tonight, might need 2 or 3 goals

Kelleher makes me want to have Adrian starting. Jesus christ, we're nailed on to get another injury today, aren't we?

I watched the games he played for us and the Toulon tournament he played for Ireland. As I said - good with the ball at his feet which will suit us but he is light......I hope Ajax don’t pump balls into the box and surround him.....not their style

I’m worried for Gini or Robbo. These two have hardly had a break.

I worry about Kelleher. But then again Klopp has to play whoever he sees perform best in training. Fair fucks.
Plus Adrian is shite.

What's Kelleher like at sweeping up? It's an important aspect if we're gonna play a high line, which Alisson demonstrated in the last game vs Brighton, and is all the more important when a weakened back four is in in place.

Probably better at it than he is goalkeeping.

Kelleher is definitely decent with his feet and sweeping up. Shot stopping ok but very inexperienced and physically light. It's a worry.
We really need to put Ajax to the sword in an attacking sense and everything will then take care of itself.

He won a penalty shootout the only time I’ve seen him play - made a few decent saves. Let’s give him a break, eh? He’s clearly a kid with talent, so if he has a great game - wonderful. If he makes a few clangers, that’s part of the learning curve. He doesn’t need any more pressure heaped on him by us...

Looking at the bench shows how bad the injuries are, don't have the full the full quota and aside from last seasons league cup I don't think half of them have played for us before

If that was Coutinho that would have been in.
