I loved it when he played one-twos off the defenders shins. Best player I have seen play. Obviously had a screw loose, but thats what probably gave him an edge.
I imagine is Salah had a taste for himan flesh, he would be even better.

Incredibly fluid with both feet. So many players are painfully one footed but he was an absolute beast.
This was right up there with my most favourite thing he ever did in a Liverpool shirt

Nah...... when we had Torres, it felt like we were on the verge of being amazing. We had Mascherano, Alonso......Gerrard behind Torres.......good goalie, solid defense....... Kuyt on the right really effective. Benayoun / Riera on the left hand side could have been better - but we were a cunt hair away from being the best side in the country and one of the best in europe. You felt that Rafa was 2 players away from making us a really epic outfit.
With Suarez, we were a top 8 team who happened to have this guy at the very top of his game. Up there in the best 5 players in the world - when the top 2 were possibly the best ever football players. He was immense.
I remember the 5-1 game v Norwich. I walked out of Anfield that night kind of realising that I was unlikely to ever see as good an individual performance. Ever. We fuckin battered them.....but had it not been for Luis, then its possible that it would have finished 1 all. He was red hot. I remember Joe Allen went to take a free kick from about 45 yards out and the crowd got pissed off...... they were like "have a fuckin shot Luis"
Gerrard was asked the question "who is the best player you ever played with?" and he answered "Luis Suarez....no doubt" before the interviewer even finished the question.
I know he'd have cost a lot in wages, has had his best days and might not have been happy being rotated.......but Suarez on a free transfer last summer would have been amazing.

We still came closer to the title with Suarez than we did with Torres and Co
