Putting this in general even though it has a big Liverpool trend. TTT isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but in fairness he does the data dirty work rather than use conjecture and assumptions. He has had a bee in his bonnet about the amount of pens we don’t get and has spent a significant amount of time analysing data to come up with this
Moral of the story - English players cute, foreign players cheats and Liverpool shafted

Shout out for the Finding Jack Charlton film on iPlayer for those not aware of it. Outstanding television and transcends football. Fabulous stuff.

Yep, Jack is as much a part of Irish culture now as he was a part of Irish sport.

This is apparently what Haaland / Raiola requested of Barca when they met this week
£20m for Raiola
£20m for Haaland Sr
£30m Net wages p/a
On top of the £150m + transfer fee
Oh and he wanted assurance Messi would be staying

Another reason and rightly so that we won't be anywhere near him or mbappe.
It's crazy money.

It’s out of our price range (even in € and not £ ) - Raiola and Haaland’s dad fucking with his career because v few (if any) clubs can afford that

To be honest I wouldn't want us to sign him for that kind of money. He's a one-on-one with Pickford away from being worth fuck all.
For that cash, LFC could probably sign about 4 first team players?

Aye, at those sums I'd rather we went for Patson Daka tbh. Not that we're in the running for Haaland anyway.

At that cost it’s a tiny minority of clubs that can afford him and may not be the best fit for him - I don’t think he leaves this summer tbh.....especially not when he has a release clause that kicks in the summer after for half that transfer fee

in reality, the best fit is a fine line though. In reality, the guy could get a career ending injury on his first training session. So for me, i dont have a problem per-se with him getting the most money and the best contract possible. He will also go somewhere he thinks that he can win trophies and have a good career.

Grotesque challenge. Proper scumbag move that could have ended his career.

Today on Escape to the country Phil is showing retired couple Bill and Margaret homes in the quaint English village of Pucklechurch. In lovely South Gloucestershire.
