Been AGESSSS since we signed one of the best in their position at the time.
Salah was good, but he became the best here. Allison is already there and I think he can get better.
Long may it continue.

Torres, Mascherano and big Virgil are the only three recent ones I can think of.

Not at all. Made up with this signing. But watching that youtube clip had me concerned he likes to take a chance or two. Our league being quicker and more high profile every mistake will be pounced on. He needs to keep things simple to start with. Don't give people the chance to get on his back. Get to Christmas with us 10 points clear and he can dribble up the pitch to his hearts content!

Yes. Defo brought the best out of alisson and the guy before who's name i cannot spell.
Wojciech Szczęsny (yeh copy/paste. Fuck you...)

I see myself more as his head of his PR department tbf.
I’d always thought he was good but didn’t want to jinx his signing or look a tit by going on about it. At least until he’d put together 2 decent performances and then, yeah, I’ve pretty much eulogised about Robbo. Th levels he was at by the time of the CL final were way beyond what I’d imagined he could bring.
We have a really savvy scouting team Noe. Seems we look to the right sort of player and ability and don’t care about the cost high or low.
I reckon Shaqiri will be a cracking signing in the same way also.

The full signing experience with AB.
I think I love him.
Interesting to note the raport Alisson has with Edward which suggests they got to know each other fairly well.

He does look huge doesn’t he but the camera is normally always below him looking up. Awesome signing in every aspect.

Contemplating for the first time ever to get the GK top with Alisson on the back
Going to inspire some future keepers this guy, very likeable and hugely marketable. Reckon this season will also be the last with NB. We will get a massive offer from the big players Nike or Adidas, with our line up they would be mad not to

I for one, prefer NB to Nike or Adidas which both are more mass market.

We are fast becoming an even bigger club with even greater exposure. I have seen that on Instagram we had around 5m followers when we got to the CL final, we now have 8m. Fact is our merchandise will be in greater demand and only the likes of Adidas or Nike can maximise revenues in that respect.

Find it amusing that the same people that were saying that he's not that good, overrated and overpriced on the basis of +/- 5 games are now creaming themselves.
Stumbled across this and thought it was a decent read:

He's still the same man, now that we've signed him he's suddenly a better player and no longer overrated?

It’s not really hypocrisy though. And he isn’t quite the same man.
He was then The Roma keeper with a massive price tag, and some time was spent considering reasons why it might not make sense to sign him.
Now he’s ours and it’s not unusual to see people get behind the signing. Looking at the positives when before they were searching for weaknesses.
Allowing ourselves the ability to evolve our opinions and slightly change our perspective, the beauty that human nature has to offer.

Ok then. I’ll give you Karius & Markovic for starters.

Yeah, yeah. As soon as our keeper kit was released, you were always getting it, even if you had to get Mig on the back.

Some of the people who are delighted have always wanted to sign him. Some still think he is overpriced/overrated but were desperate for us to get a properly competent keeper in. Others will have discarded their previous views now that he has signed. But then, that's not hypocrisy, it's hope. He's a football player, not a friggin worldview

As far as what name he uses on his shirt, he has 3 choices.
Alisson Ramses Becker.
No wonder he's mates with Mo.

I think I fall into that category but the excitement is fuck all to do with Alisson and more to do with the fact the faux unconscious Karius could destroy our season.
The 75m was also not paid and we've basically got him for around 40m if you factor in Ward... and Alisson's wages aren't too bad either.
Sue us for wanting a change.
