Liverpool vs Man Utd - Premier League (19/20 - Game 22)

UK:
Sunday 19th January at 4:30pm

Australia:
Perth Time: 20th January at 12:30am
QLD Time: 20th January at 2:30am
NSW/VIC: 20th January at 3:30am
Live on Optus Sports

-------------------

This is it!

The best start to a league EVER! But records mean nothing if there's not a big shiny thing at the end so now we host a resurgent Man Utd () and if we come through this and Wolves away, we should be through the hardest matches that count.

Cheers FB

I fucking hate United and I almost hate playing them as much, we never seem to play well against them. I’d love to absolutely thump them.....surely someone is going to be on the end of a hiding from us - really hope it’s Sunday

Against us at Anfield, without Howard Webb or Atkinson (he's doing the Watford game fortunately) in their squad - we will smash them. 4-0.

This is their cup final, on paper we should thrash these but they do seem to be a bit of a bogey side for us and they would love to be the party poopers as regards our record/league run. In saying that, I fully expect us to beat them especially in Anfield.

Well, he has a fight on his hands, a midfield of Henderson, Gini and Ox sounds good at home, love to see that with the usuals around.

I wonder whether Fab might get some minutes here and then come in at Wolves where we will need his nous.

We could feasibly have a ‘full’ squad to pick from in a couple of weeks

Looks like Rashford picked up an injury tonight after coming on as a sub... then went off injured replaced by ‘Beans Beans Beans’...

Fuckin joke. That whole league was corrupt as fuck. David Gill as vice chairman of the fa. If it was Russia we'd all be laughing at how fuckin bent it was.

I read a good article about the ref Mark clattenburg. After he presided over the 6-1 United v City game, ferguson went fuckin mental at him. He didn't get another United game for about a year and when he finally got another one, the fuckin calls were dodgy as fuck.

The years of Howard Webb were fuckin bent too. No fuckin doubt. It was a big joke

I don't believe him tbh

Quote:
Meanwhile, Solskjær cast doubt on Marcus Rashford’s hopes of shaking off a back injury for Sunday’s Premier League game with Liverpool. Rashford made a brief appearance in the midweek FA Cup win over Wolves which may have cost him his chances of figuring at Anfield.

“We’re going to give him the absolute amount of time but I am not going to hold my breath,” added Solskjær. “I would think that he probably wouldn’t be ready but he’s still got 48 hours so let’s see.”

Everything about Ole annoys me, even his pre match injury status bluffing.

I know we'll lose a game eventually, and I'm ok with that, but I really, really want to win this one in some style.

Yep desperate to hand out a proper hammering. Last season's 3-1 was good but I want more - we owe them for that grubby draw they got off us this season. Really want to rub their noses in the dirt.

Harry Maguire has been announced as their new skipper. Pretty much the only choice I'd say.

I had no idea Ashley Young was previously their captain

I hate that sort of bluffing. It's so juvenile. It happened last week when Danny Rose played for spurs out if the blue and Maureen hid it in advance like he was Messi. Its pathetic
