Yeah IMO. Rafa was equally qualified and had a similar resume but Klopp's profile is far higher. Every fan and his dog knows of him, and every supporter wants him at their club.

And every Manc and Arsenal fan thought he would no way come to Anfield. Loving it.

Sky have confirmed on SSN that O'Driscoll and Gary Mac have been fucked off however Mac is staying as an Ambassador for the club.
Klopp is on his way to his Hotel where he will be staying for the next few nights. Can't see him getting much sleep!

Credit to the club for this by the way, Rodgers was 3 points off 4th place when they sacked him, just backed him in the summer and changed his staff. It would have been the easy option to let him have until Xmas and see if things improve given their actions in the summer.
Klopp is probably the biggest name Liverpool have brought to the club in my lifetime. By that I mean he's already established, Rafa was similar but Dortmund had much more of a buzz around them probably due to social media and his personality.
We usually in terms of players aim for younger lads with potential too and they create their star at the club, this is just a massive step up in terms of ambition it seems. Any of the top clubs in the world would have wanted him if they sacked their manager so at least in that sense it puts us back in the mix.
Exciting times, its about time this sleeping giant woke up.

Iv not posted for about a year. I was depressed after we blew the title and lost Suarez. Then last season was a nightmare.
This appointment has got me all excited again - like a kid at christmas. What a statement of intent by the owners, i never thought we could pull it off - the most sought after manager in world football.
Let the fun times roll

Absolutely amazing. Hats off to FSG.

Its a shame there are no PL games this weekend.
It would be comedy gold watching Gary Neville on MNF explain why Klopp isn't the right choice for LFC!

I remember a long-time poster who raged quit the boards after we almost nearly in 2013/14. Wonder if he'd come back now that Klopp is in.

Nah, his time time to shine was 3 weeks ago when Brendan Rodgers was sub human scum and we were going to get relegated
The miserable twat isn't suddenly going to make an appearance now that there is an air of positivity surround the club

Nope. But it's about as good as it could possibly be without being official
Ie, Klopp himself told me

I've had that bloody tune stuck in my head for the past 20 minutes.
Was on holiday when the sacking was announced, couldn't believe it. Exciting times ahead.
