Looking forward to hearing all about how City have injuries and Liverpool are lucky from experts and fans while they ignore the Hendo, Matip, Ox injuries.

Edit: actually, just seen how many other injuries they have!

They'll probably play Sterling through the middle?

There's that Delap who scored last night but Pep's not gonna chuck a 17 year old into Prem action I don't think.

Three games in and we've comprehensively swatted away two of the challengers.

And City have already been comprehensively thrashed in one of their two games.

Early days, but it's great to put a marker down like this already, and it's starting to look a bit ominous for the rest of the league.

Win at Villa - play anything like we have done the last two games and we will - then the fucking international break and then it's Everton away with Thiago back and presumably Henderson too. If we win there everyone else might as well pack up and go home.

The things I’m most wary of this season are the sudden addition of a few big random factors.

1. This absurd new handball law. It’s going to swing a lot points in various results.
2. The packed schedule. Key injuries are going to bite more teams than normal this season.
3. Coronavirus. It’s not just injuries that will test squad depth this season.

Fucking Saturday lunchtime. Might be wrong but my perception is we're usually shit in lunchtime kick offs.

Early kick off after the international break, shortest training time and away to Goodison/Old Trafford has 0-0 all over it.

Although eternal hope it will be different this year

We used to be, but itís yet another thing that Klopp turned around.

We only had a few last season, but we won them all. Including 3-1 Newcastle and 2-0 Watford. The 2-1 Brighton was probably the only below par performance, but that was in March when our form was iffy anyway.

We had about 6 lunchtime kick offs in 2018/19 and them all as well.
Including away to Spurs and Leicester and a 4-0 at Bournemouth. A home 4-0 thrashing of West Ham too.

I still hate early kick offs though

I think they are leaving it quite late until they show who is broadcasting the games. I noticed that they only had info for about 2-3 weeks ahead. I guess the CL and Europa fixtures have a baring so maybe once they are announced?

We beat SU away in a lunch time KO last season when the goalie threw it through his legs.

Same, not a fan of the early kick off

seems to be 5 non televised games (3pm) after the international break for the rest of October and mostly involving non European side.

Think Sky and BT have just picked their games as they would normally. There is a meeting next week to decide how to distribute the rest of the fixtures.
