Our upcoming games are -

17/4 - Porto (CL - A)
21/4 - Cardiff (A)
26/4 - Huddersfield (H)
30/4 - Semi-Final 1st Leg? (CL)
5/5 - Newcastle (A)
7/5 - Semi-Final 2nd Leg? (CL)
12/5 - Wolves (H)

City's upcoming games -

17/4 - Spurs (CL - H)
20/4 - Spurs (H)
24/4 - Man Utd (A)
28/4 - Burnley (A)
30/4 - Semi-Final 1st Leg? (CL)
4/5 - Leicester (H)
7/5 - Semi-Final 2nd Leg? (CL)
12/5 - Brighton (A)
I really think we just have to win all our remain games now, we are playing for all the marbles. The champions Lg is totally in our hands and over 2 legs I fancy us against any team in world football. In the Lg really we can only hope City draw a game we win all ours, thats the most realistic senario for me

In all honesty, if both teams win all their games, I'll be first to congratulate City as they would have been the better side as it would have been down to the head to head matches with us where they came out on top...4 points off us with a draw at Anfield & beating us at Etihad.

& in fairness if it was for that pathetic penalty by Mahrez they'd have beaten us at home too.... although if the ball had crossed the line by a few more millimetres at the Etihad we'd have gotten a draw

Fine margins eh?

If Kompany had been given one of the most blatant red cards ever...

Let’s see how things are in two weeks time. I think City will drop points either v Spurs or Utd.

I was about to reply saying "maybe if it was at Turf Moor but not at the Ethiad" when I just double checked and saw that it was away game for city.

That is a tricky one alright...... we just need to do our bit.

Newcastle away could be tricky for us. How fuckin cruel would it be if we nipped ahead of them only to get pegged back again by our former manager???

Got to believe we will win our last few games though. The team seem to have hit a good patch right on cue. That is full credit to Klopp and his management of this team. Fuckin brilliant manager and we are so lucky to have him. Wouldn't swap him for anyone.

So, do we want City to come back and beat Spurs in the CL, or are we rooting for Spurs to ensure the "historic quadruple" is never mentioned again?

I think crucially we want United to beat Everton away to keep the race for 3rd and 4th waver thin, and Arsenal to win both their games in hand which they are very capable of doing. If that happens there is like 1 point between all 4 of them with both Chelsea and United having to play each other, Spurs nor United will not be able to treat City as a free pass because whoever does better against them will probably be almost guaranteed CL football next season. I think Spurs are looking back to their incredibly dangerous best, and I dont know if its wishful thinking but City dont look like they are humming right now

not sure.

I wonder if City won but got fuckin lucky doing it, would that spur Spurs on in the league match.

What is good for us is that both spurs and united have to give them a game in the league. I watched United a few weeks ago on a freebie to Old Toilet. They really were shite. Against west ham the other day they were jammy as fuck too by all accounts. But in the big game you never know. (fuckin doubt it though)

I think we weren't great at handling the pressure when we were top, I honestly don't think City are much better at it. Time and time again in huge games they've come up short. I'm praying they will again.
They'll crack.

Klopp as ever is bang on on this one. If we win all four games and finish on 97 points in second place, we just have to say take it on the chin. It will still be a remarkable season.

I think, if we win all 4 - we win the League.

The team look on fire right now.

Yeah what ever happens now I already feel great about this season, I want a trophy for Klopp more than myself. I am feeling bullish about the CL now. Our team is in good shape our squad is in good shape, we know how to get results now. All we can keep doing is winning, Honestly the sheer volume of games City have played if they can manage to make that work for them fair fucks to them, but lets see what shape they are in after Spurs come at time like hungry dogs two games in a row, then they play United Burnley and Leicester

I don't see anyone beating us this season so CL could be even more achievable. Don't fear Spurs, Juve, Ajax or Man Utd and think we are a match for City and Barca. Spurs to beat City please, get them out asap and get their heads down. Once that one slips the league becomes infinitely more important to them and the pressure will tell

I guess we want a result whatever it is to be sorted in 90 mins as extra time would be more of an issue for Spurs in the league game than for City who have the larger squad.

I think City going out just allows them to focus on the league (and to a lesser extent the FA Cup, but that doesn't affect us). I think that having the extra games will be an extra distraction. If we go through I think I would want City to go through as well because them not having the extra games will give them a slight advantage over us.

And if Spurs go out it means they really need some points on Saturday.

Feels a bit counter intuitive to be wanting a City win tomorrow night though. And the flip side is that going out tomorrow to Spurs could have a massive effect on City’s morale.

Fuck knows eh? Whatever will be will be.

Itís not tomorrow, itís Wednesday, same as us.

I hope City go through so they donít just focus everything on the league.
And then hopefully drop points on Saturday, of course.

Personally I see Spurs winning the CL tie is a much bigger thing for them than City, so I think that the danger is that they would take it a little easier in the league game after what would be a massive result in midweek. I guess the ideal situation would be Spurs going into the league game with a sense of injustice, having been hard done by and wanting to get revenge for being knocked out.

Hope they go out. Weakens that half of the draw, weíd twat Ajax, we are much better than Spurs and we are a style nightmare for a slow as fuck Juve team.

And we donít potentially have to share Madrid with Manc filth. Donít think them being in a semi really hinders them v a pathetic Brighton side and at home to a beach bound Leicester.

Considering Neville's comments I am now thinking its best United drops points against Everton. Its not beyond the realms for this scenario to play out
City Beat Spurs
Arsenal Beat Palace
United draw at Everton
Then the table will look like this

Games Played Points

City..........34............86
Liverpool...34............86
Arsenal.....34............69
Spurs.......34............67
Chelsea....34............66
United......34............65

Considering Spurs will qualify for the CL I am almost certain of that, what we are really looking at is a race between United Chelsea and Arsenal for 4th and Arsenal have by far the easiest run-in with all 5 games normally when they are playing well you would expect them to win. Even if Arsenal drop 3 points in their last 5 games that will still put them on 78 points, if United lose to City and win all of there remaining games it will put them on 77 points in 5th place, even Spurs again lets say they take nothing from City ... if they draw against Bournemouth away or West Ham then that puts them right back in the danger zone.
I genuinely think for both United and Spurs, a point for both them is good enough whilst city need all 3 points from both games which will play into both United and Spurs hands, esepcially United.

There is no way either team would go into that City game thinking its ok we can take a hit here
