    Moores .......done The Deal

Mr MOORES HAS DONE THE DEAL

my source an ex player has told me the deal has been done and will be made public at the next shareholders meeting in december.

Alls I can say is we are ALLEGEDLY linked to a famous Basketball playing team
they have a very catchy tune and it is often whistled gleefully.

The certain "globetrotting" team are owned by a multi millionaire from the usa

I believe the sum was around £250 million

I believe the person who told me and will be talking to him later,Dont slate me for giving you all a snippit of real information, I am only passing on the information I recieved earlier today, and finally dont ask me to reveal the persons name.

If this is not the real deal, I will be aware of the consequences and will change my name to paul cooper 2

I hope you are all now in the picture, I personally, would have waited for a better price, but Mr Moores holds the reins and he has done whatever, was the best for himself..................
and I hope the future of LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB.

Nice wee Christmas pressie. Just in time for the January window as well.

              Excellent news if true.

As long as they're 'nice' (sic) investors i don't care less where they are from. Argentina excepted of course.

Even if a takeover does happen before January, I can't see us signing any good players. There aren't many (if any) good players on the market who aren't cup tied.

Hows 250 mill gonna solve our problems. The debt is 80 mill & the stadium will cost 180 mill. That's the whole lot of investment - 10 mill.
                        Sorry but that's bollox.

Is it important for the the person in charge to have a passion for the club or even the sport?

Or is it enough to just beable to fund the team, and promote the "brand" in which they are investing in to maximise there financial returns.

I am assuming that the 250 million is the amount that he will be giving David Moores for his shares, so the stuff that you are talking about has absolutely no bearing.

What worries me is that he may be prepared to do things in the pursuit of profit that we would consider to be NOT the Liverpool way, and that if/when he sells us on his only interest may be getting the best price.
