    Agger do do do....

haven't really seen anyone mention his performance yesterday. I must admit i was very surprised to see him starting...has he even played a preseason game yet? Rafa must rate him to start ahead of Sami in a game against Chelski.

I thought he did really well, especially considering who he was up against.

Drogba didnt win many headers, due mainly to Agger breathing down his neck whenever he got near it. He was also quite composed on the ball, a few of his long passes didnt come of....but that will come with games. He has the vision to spot the pass, which is the key.

Well done Danny, build on this performance and you will be starting regularly.

    cracking tatt aswell

I thought he looked very good.

I was totally shocked when I saw he was playing instead of Sami.

I think he was ok, but he's got a lot to work on. Not least his distribution.

We've only just beat the automatic "hoof" out of Sami, so Agger needs to get it done with quickly. A few more calm, short passes to Momo and Xabi and he'll be doing well.

Considering how often he's been out with injuries i thought it was a very good display, he will certainly put pressure on Sami this season.

To be fair, noone was playing deep in midfield yesterday, Zenden and Momo pushed up to the halfway line, so he didnt have our usual luxury of a Xabi to lay the ball to. His passing is good anyway, his range was there, he was just slightly off target with a couple of them. There's a massive difference between hoofing the ball and playing a good longrange pass.

            Also, his heading was EXCELLENT.

Yeah, am chuffed to bits with Agger and Paletta, they are just what we need for the future, Rafa is a ****ing legend both players look like they could be top class central figures at Anfield for many a season, which is always good to see.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I thought he had a very assured game, brought the ball out well at times. Won practically everything
in the air , it reminded me of his display against Engerlaund. If he continues in this vein we will have no
worries with rotating the centre backs over the season.Well done Danny Boy.

Thanks for that mate. Yeah he went the full hog with that tatt. whatever it is.

Very happy with how Agger played, especially in light of how much game time he has had in recent times. Suprised to see him named, but in Rafa we trust......

he's certainly no wimp. He grew up in a tough area of Denmark, if he didnt play football he would of probably ended up in a gang. I had a guy from the same town as him living with us last year. Tough *******, we did our best to not piss him off Hated Germans with a passion
