Liverpool ticket prices 19th lowest in Premiership

just read in the paper that LFC matchday tickets are 2nd lowest in PL. Sheffield UTD are 20th. At Arsenals new ground some match day tickets will cost £94!!!!!! thats not corporate ticket price just normal seat..

LFC season tickets are 8th expensive.

Wouod anyone complain if ticket prices went up £8 or so next season which would increase funds by around 5 million?

Season Ticket prices went up 35 quid this year and I'm stuggling to find the money so yes I would ****ing mind if ticket prices went up by £8 per match.

In case you haven't noticed the Liverpool area , although improving steadily , is not exactly flush with cash and I would not support anything that would trade the lifeblood of the club for a bit of ready cash.

Its expensive enough now, never mind going up £8 a game.

Prices have risen in the last few years anyway. While I think that it would not be a bad idea to up the cost of Category A games by say a fiver raising the cost of Category B games would to my mind be a bit mean.

                      Supply and demand.

We're obviously a few million short so i would support a price hike - though i can understand were you are coming from.

Every match i go to usually costs me around a couple of hundred - the ticket is the cheapest thing of the weekend for me.

If I go to a game it costs me in excess of £300, even if I crash at a mates, so another £5 or £10 on the ticket to help fund a new stadia would be a good thing if you asked me.

I do understand some people scrimp and save to get to a game, but it is a bit daft for a top 4 club to be 2nd lowest in the league ticket prices of if you ask me....

I think it shows the clubs regard for its fans. The Kop season ticket has this year been brought into line with the other stands but for many years was far cheaper as the club agreed this when the Kop went all seater..

This shows why LFC are truly the greatest. With all the success they haven't forgotten about the fans who may not be able to pay more and more for match day tickets. Once the economic situation for the region improves then they should consider raising the prices. LFC's greatest asset is it's fans.
