Is it a case of 'i'm only interested if we're winning' ? Poor show mate.

Liverpool means more to me than just been pissed off after couple of results. I first became a red in 1989 when i was 8. Going to anfield with my dad to lay a football of flowers on the pen spot at the kop end! Meeting King Kenny and john barnes when me dad got talking to them on the pitch and seeing just what somthing like that did to everyone. There is no other club like Liverpool fc in the world and the above statment is the reason for that!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't where you finish in the league determine what proportion of some pot of the Champions League revenue (TV money??) you get? Given our financial situation we need all the money we can get to improve the squad.

Also 2nd place gets automatic qualification to the champions league which affects preparation for the new season. For those reasons alone we should be aiming to finish as high as possible.

Plus for me every game we play is important and I want to see us win them all

Not quite what I meant, it's more that Rafa and the squad will now put all their focus on the CL.

And as for all those bleeding heart reds who think they're better than everyone else, I've been a red since 74 and seen good and bad, tragic and ecstatic but the worst is always when you're playing games that are meaningless.
