    Souness on Goals on Sunday

He's on Goals on Sunday (on Sky) now but has just given a fantastic interview about his time with us, both as a player and as a manager. Talks frankly about his time with us, including a pretty passionate account of his **** ups as manager, notably the Sun interview.

Obviously it's already been on so if anyone's interested I suggest you look out for a download. Maybe some of our downloady people can post a link.

Great viewing. And despite his Sun cock up - a bona-fide LFC legend.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's stirring stuff....had me feeling quite emotional. Definitely worth looking out for.

The LFC part of the interview is in two parts. It's worth watching all the talky bits in fact. Talked about his career from his days at Spurs, to Boro, to us, talked about our glory days, how we did it etc, his time in Italy, Rangers, back to us, and then the S*n thing which is pretty emotional stuff. Never heard him speak quite like that before. He's a ****ing legend.

Interesting to hear him talking - liked the 2 stories about Joe Fagan

Still talked a bit of bollocks mind you

The stuff about him coming in as manager when we had an ageing side who hadnt won anything for two years

FLMAO he arrrived in April 91, we won the League the year before and we were top of the league when Kenny quit in February 91 (we eventually finished 2nd!)
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

A Fenerbahce fan followed him down the tunnel and belted him

Is it being repeated at all?
                        Really?

Still haven't forgiven him for Paul Stewart or Istvan Kozma!

The guy was my fave player as a kid. I idolised him and met him once. Lovely fella. I feel like crying when I see people calling him this and that on sites like this one. I can only assume they're too young to remember the man and what he did for LFC as a player.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.
