That's what I thought, but I didn't see MOTD.

Like I said, MOTD showed the footage from the refs angle and froze the play at the point of impact - just reporting what they showed.

I don't accept that Kyrgiakos comes off the ground as such, but he does go in two footed, and so that for me is a red. Fellaini should have had two reds really, the kick in Kuyt's face looked deliberate to me (or at the very least reckless), and that is a stamp on Zorba.
Everton really are a bunch of roughhouse cunts

fuckin hell the more i see that pienaar one the worse it gets. i didn't notice it in real time at all - was just a bit of a blur to me. and as for fellaini he seriously went in to damage the greek. he saw the tackle coming - which is 100% studs up and 2-footed and a red - but instead of jumping out of the way he stamps right on the greeks leg. all good crack for fans to go absolutely fuckin mental to though.
fellaini is a horrible cunt and he knows that the majority of the time he'll get away with shit
bring in some sort of video reffing - where managers can make a challenge to a decison and lose a substitution for example - and some sort of citing system afterwards.

It wasn't a reconstruction, it was actual camera footage shot from directly behind and slightly above the ref. Gerrard was to the right of the ref who looked like he had a clear view of the challenge.
I can't find the footage online anywhere so I'll see if I can take a photo of it from the telly and upload it.

Yep red was right as it was deemed a dangerous lunge, but Screech would of seen red if the refs view wasn't obscured

Dunno, that could be at the point where Pienarr's boot is at it's lowest...cos the ball is already up near Pienarr's midrift.
Also, watching the other angle, Carra i think it is doesn't react to the tackle at all??

not sure where you see the ball near Peinaar's midfrift? Like I already said, they froze the play at the point of impact, or very close to it.
At this point, the ball was still on the deck, you don't see the ball emerging until a few frames after this freeze frame. The ball was yellow making it pretty easy to spot

Someone said Carragher should have walked for his early tackle on Pienaar. I thought bullshit.

So what's that between Pienarr's body and his arm then?? Slightly yellower than the grass behind it with black pattern, not part of the Everton kit or part of Carragher as far as i can tell...looks like the ball to me?

The ball was bright yellow and can't be seen in this frame because its behind Mascheranos lower leg - if you had actually seen the footage then this would be totaly obvious as it can clearly be seen in the frame directly before this one - it is nowhere near Pienaar's elbow or midrift so I really have no idea what you are seeing in the picture.

The Carra challenge is what's called 'ball and man'
And because he stayed on his feet and won the ball first it'd safe 99% of the time, he got booked for his soft sliding tackle on Pinnear because it was right after the incident and he slid in.
The madness of the modern game.
I should mention fair play to Moyes for coming out and saying they had no complaints about the Pinnear red because he could have been sent off for the Mascherano tackle, compare that view to Wengers chronic blindness especially after the Gallas tackle a couple of weeks ago.

Momentum.
Anyway, Cahill led with his arms and caught Lucas in the face later, without even winning the ball or conceding a foul.
Phil Neville also went in studs showing and caught Maxi mid air without conceding a foul which I didn’t see mentioned anywhere.
We’d be here all day if you analysed every tackle as much as this one and find fault in nearly every one of them.
He should have hit the cunt harder if you ask me.

I think moyes fucked up big time with the decision to play pienaar against carra, i think he would have been more effective against a less experienced and just as slow Insua.. But then again, Moysie is a genius
