watched the second half of the Charlton v Fulham game last night.
The decision to award Fulham that free kick in the 92 minute was atrocious. It was never a free kick - and should have been handball against Radzinski.
It was the linesman who gave the decision - and Poll (who else?) concurred.
But did anybody see the lineseman at the end of the game? I don't wanna judge people on appearances - but I'm gonna do it all the same! The linesman was this little short arsed fella - with a ****ing gormless vacant expression on his face. Whenever any of the Charlton players came over to Poll after the match - the linesman ****ing hid behind him!
The point I'm trying to make is that this bloke didn't have a ****ing clue and yet he's officiating at a Premier League game. I know some (all?) of the refs are bad but watch the replays this morning and have a look at this linesman and tell me - just by looking at him - if you think the gormless little **** is competent. The bloke made a monumental cock-up and then looked bewildered.
I'm no Pardew fan - but I felt for him last night.
