The only reason scholes stopped playing for england was because sven kept playing stevie and lampturd in the middle and dragging scholes half way around the world to be kept on the bench or play left midfield. And he's far too good a player to be used like that.
If england had a different manager then I think he may have reconsidered but since we've got sven mkII in McLaren - I dont think he'll bother, and I cant say I blame him.Liverpool born and bred.Comment
