Not wanting to get drawn into the second debate but, there is definitely a case that Ronaldinho has been over-rated in the same way has Stevie has for us. Both are impact players who can change a game in an instant and are capable of doing (different) things which few other players could dream of, however they don't consistantly dictate the shape or flow of games, particularly at international level. People talk them up to almost impossible levels, which means they will always be open to being said to be over rated.

Having said that they are both stupendous players and could rightly be placed in the class of the very best players in the world.

You see, when I see people write stuff like this I can't help but think he is overrated.

          true.
Thats like saying, this Ronaldihno lookalike is the tallest man in the world:
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Souness who as a manager has shown such a sharp eye for a player.
