Yes, Savage is probably the most 'hated' footballer around, but I like him - he always gives his all and I bet most if not all fans of his side loves him.

It's never nice to laugh and joke about someone's misfortune, especially when someone has a serious injury.

Savage annoys the f*ck out of me but there are so many players ahead of him on my most hated list. The whole United squad (including the reserves and juniors), the bluesh!te squad, the Chelsea squad and Teddy Sheringham are all ahead of Savage.

I don't feel sorry for Savage for breaking a leg but I won't laugh at him. However, I won't condemn anyone else who revels in his misfortune as it would be hypocritical of me...one of my favourite tackles of all time is Ruddock's on Andy Cole when he snapped his leg in half.

Don't like him but think he is a decent player (I don't think he tackles more dangerously than say Gerrard, he is however the worst PL example of fouling to break up an opponents good play which really pisses me off as referees never clamp down properly on cynical stuff that downgrades the entertainment). However I wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.

he is a **** and h8 the diving and trying to get people booked, though at the same time i would never celebrate anyone breaking there leg. just wondering why people don't focus on players from the uk who are cheats, like savage, j.cole, lampard, duff,robbie keane and michael owen all have been known to go to ground easy (less theatrically) than the foreigners like ronaldo drogba robben diouf. seems that when an uk player goes down its clever and everones else is doing it to us kinda attitude then when a foreign player does it there lambasted. im not trying to stick up for anyone that dives i h8 it and it should be cut out of the game but why do we focus on some players more than others.

Come on people, I understand the general antipathy to Robbie Savage but taking pleasure in others' misfortunes is pretty shoddy really.

Of course feeling more sympathetic to some than to others is only natural but that's not the same thing at all.
