There's an article in the mirror today (cant be ar$ed looking for it!) with quotes from Maureen saying he asked Baros in the tunnel after the Villa v Chelsea game (0-0) if he'd like to play for Chelsea. Baros replied 'yes'.

The deal never materialised because SWP refused to go to Vlla as part of the deal, but surely Maureen's approach amounts to tapping up?

After all the other misdemeanours - this looks like another one to add to their growing list.

In the Football Echo last Saturday Bascombe reported that Mourinho asked Rafa about the availability of Stevie Gerrard just before the kick off of the Carling Cup Final; whilst shaking his hand.

This is a man that is willing to use the contract negotiations of his top player(s) in an attempt to get some kind of leverage within the club. It would be painful to watch if he had nt spent the last two and half seasons setting himself up for the fall, when he does these and his other misdemeanours will become known.
