Shevchenko scored today but he had a very poor game. He's a shadow of his former self which is great for all of us. shevchenko on top form and playing in a system which suited him would've ripped premiership defences apart.

It was interesting to see Desailly on the BBC say that he thought that Sheva was suffering from over working in preseason. He does look tired and I guess for the first time ever he has had an international tournament in the Summer as well as moving to a more physical league.

Sheva is perhaps worth 30M in Italy or even in Spain. But in England, he's worth 2 pence.

Forest are a very young team, currently not doing too badly in League 1 ("The feckin thrid division!" - quote from my Dad there). My Dad has a Season Ticket but didn't go to Chelsea. He thought they'd be hammered about 6-0. They gave quite a good account of themselves in the second half. The fans were great, singing and dancing throughout - loved the "Cloughie 2 - Jose 0" banner.

He was from Wycombe previously. Jermaine Easter replaced him. Tyson was mint at Wycombe, but I think he may have found his level.
