    David Healy

Amazed, absolutely amazed no Premiership Club has looked to snap him up this window.

Not being biased but surely he deserves a crack at the big time after his exploits for NI including the winning goal against England and not to mention the breathtaking hat-trick against Spain, not just that, he's scored consistenly throughhout his career, ok most of them not in the EPL but still he more than deserves the opportunity to play in the Premier League and i defo think he's scored goals there too.

He's a deadly finisher and the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, Middlesbrough, Charlton to name but a few could do with a good striker like Healy.

WTF? he supported Man U as a lad, not that it's any better like.
Anyway that aside, what do you think?

                Yup.

Both have a point though. The likes of Charton and West ham (especially) could really do with him... failing that Waford, but that would be a bad move for Healy.

                    I agree Bob

Healy was considered one of the next big things but never quite flourished. Leeds fans dont rate him and see him as a waste of resource. Truth be known, they want to sell him. So far only Burnley and Sheff Utd seem to have made any offer or at least shown interest.

                    Leeds need to sell really.

How many goals has he scored in Div One this season?

I know a Leeds fan who thinks he's **** with a terrible attitude.

They are both just playing at the level they are for a reason.

Same as DJ Campbell, Earnshaw, Jon Stead etc, nowt wrong with that, but it answers the initial post, they are where they are as they are at their natural level of course.

Jon Stead is at Sheffield United now isn't he. Still appears to be **** though. He looked so good for one season but since then I recon he has looked pretty league 1. Healy seems to have bursts of class followed by the majority of a season spent being crap. I suspect the Leeds supporters are right that he has a poor attitude.

I think all of the others could do a job for a bottom half PL side. Although having said that West Ham have a decent strikeforce on paper as do Wigan and in fact most teams but Sheffield United and Watford. So maybe the answer is that there are plenty of strikers who deserve a chance at that level and Healy has blown his with his attitude.

                              Healy

I agree with some of the posts on here about him but I'm sure he could so a job for a club like Sheff Utd or Watford.

His strike rate at international level in a team that doesn't really create chances is superb, but at club level he has never quite cut it.

Unsurprisingly the man is god to NI fans.
