    Transfer Deadline Day Thread

    Always a interesting day!

    Some rumours so far.....

    Bale to Spurs/Arsenal? (although BBC Radio Solent say he is stayin until the summer)
    Xavi bein linked to mancs
    Harewood to spurs
    Upson to West Ham (8 mil!)
    Sheringham to return to spurs
    Craig Gordan to Arsenal
    Mido to citeh (but after the game tonight )
    Maloney to Villa
    Nugent to bitters?
    Duberry to Reading
    Giles Barnes to spurs

    Spurs make me laugh. Linked with pure ****, except for Giles Barnes. Hope they don't get him....and we do, naturally.

        To be fair they normally seem to be linked with everyone going. Before signing 12 central midfielders and attempting once more to buy a half decent left back and spunking £3m on someone who will leave for half that in a year.

                  Most intriguing story of the day has to be Duberry to Reading. I really rated him when he broke through at Chelsea but he never seemed to progress and then his career died at Leeds as so many did. Now he has resurrected himself with Stoke.
