Robinson's been ****e since the World Cup. He had a couple of stinkers in the tournament and people started questioning whether he was actually any good or not.
His confidence is shot.
On current form David James is (worryingly) the best keeper in the country by some distance.
Foster looks good because he's got more to do than any other bugger. Give him a game in front of a half sensible defence and his concentration levels would (IMO) let him down.
Kirkland is better suited to the Championship.
Carson is in the same boat as Foster. Good shot stopper because he gets so much practice. What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

I was goin to start a thread on this yesterday. I used to think that Robinson was a decent keeper but now having seen more of him he appears to be worse than first thought. Some of the goals he concedes are woeful and he's also overweight IMHO.
England would do well to drop him and give some one like that lad Foster a go.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Fair enough Dan mate. I laugh when he ****s up for England too. That last one, the fresh air shot, had me howling out loud. I also hope Spain thrash us this week, to make McClaren look even more of a ****-house.
It reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally annoys me when I hear fans of other clubs saying to me “I can’t believe you continue with that fool Reina in goal when you’ve got the AMAZING Carson farmed out on-loan….”Originally posted by Gordy Boy View PostRobinson's been ****e since the World Cup. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!
Do they not get it? If Reina played for Charlton he’d look like the best keeper in the world. Bar none. The test of a keepers mettle is how good he is after prolonged periods if inactivity – and Reina is top notch in that department.
Based on Carson’s displays for us so far, the same can’t be said of him. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

spot on. Add Friedel and Jaskalainen in that department aswell. They are made to look alot better than they actaully are, by the amount of shots that they face each game.
Oh and Robinson is wank
Ive never been overly impressed by him.

I think Robinson was developing well until about halfway through last season. He started making mistakes on a semi-regular basis and seemed to loose some of his presence in the box after that. The world cup didn't help either.
To be honest I think that Friedel and Jaskalainen are both better keepers at the minute. I'm not as convinced as other people they only look good as they are behind **** defences. Both teams have decent defences. Neither are top class but they are very good. I think peoples opinion of Friedel is tarred by his time with us, but he has improved since moving and since being secure as a number one."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

This is true, we may all laugh at him but he has had some great games this season, great shot stopper and makes unreal saves when he's on top form. Sadly his past wont be forgotten.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostAs a non-Englishman I'd LOVE to see this happen. When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
